I don't have any bungs for the exhaust. At the moment I just have a rear muffler delete with the stock mid pipe. Thinking of going single exit at some point in the future but I am not sure.

I will upload the video anyway just so you can get an idea. Whats the best way to do that? There doesn't seem to be an option to upload on here. It doesn't affect the performance so I am not to worried just trying to figure out why it makes the noise.

Yeah that makes sense. I will try and get a video of it later so you can hear it. Just want to make sure that it's nothing serious before I start investing in more upgrades :)

Hi All, It has been a while since I have been on the forums. I finally decided to upgrade from 2008 impreza RX to a 2011 WRX STI (Saloon). Anyway eventually I upgraded the exhaust and started to notice a loud whine noise when hitting boost. It has been to a local garage and they couldn't find any exhaust or boost leaks. The garage said that they think it is just turbo spool noise resonating through the exhaust but I am just not sure. It sounds louder than what I would expect turbo noise to be. Does anyone have any ideas what could be making the noise? Any help would be appreciated :)

They are slightly darker than the standard silver more of a gunmetal colour (which I prefer) and that no good at all.

I think they should fit. Looking on wheel size some came with similar spec only difference is offset was 53.

Hi All, I am looking for a passenger side shock absorber for my 2008 RX. I have recently lowered my car 30mm all around and the passenger side is starting to leak oil. Is anyone breaking down a 2.0 R/RX or a 2.5 WRX that would have theses parts? Or can anyone recommend any aftermarket ones. Thanks,

You won't notice much noise if you just swap the back box which is what I originally did. But with this exhaust and also removing the mid silencer you get a nice loud noise. It's not too loud that it gets annoying but it turns some heads when you drive past. I does look really nice on the car and makes it sound more like a subaru. I will try add some pictures when I can.

Hi All, Does anyone know where I can get the correct clips for a Impreza hatch air intake scoop, as pictured below? I ordered the incorrect ones as they were slightly to big. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you :) I wasn't 100% sure if they would fit so I went with 2.0r hatch springs.

Height for speedbumps is not to bad. Haven't had it scrape yet. Handling is a lot better with stiffer springs but it isn't rock hard so it is still comfortable when driving.

I have finally had the time install my lowering springs on my RX hatch. Took myself and a friend about 4 hours on Saturday and we got it done just before the rain came hammering down. Now that I have put 18" wheels on as well it fills the arch more and I think it look a lot better. I have added some photos too. P.S getting off my mates driveway was fun...

I've just installed 30mm lowering springs to my RX and it is a huge improvement. There is now a lot less body roll.

Upgrading the air intake and exhaust I would recommend. I felt like this helped a bit at low revs but that could just be me. I am about to have new springs installed over the next week or so see if that improves the handling.

So did you keep the soundproofing on the underside of the bonnet? and what is directly underneath the bonnet scoop on a hatchback as there is no inter cooler? Is it just the big plastic box that's part of the air filter?
