  1. How do you do the ordering savs, through the club ? I'm a bit of a DER with stuff like this
  2. Ok peeps, are there any tickets left for the stand
  3. Hello mate, welcome aboard :) where the blazes is bacup ??
  4. I had the sistersinlaws car mot'd and repaired by a garage years ago, went to pick it up and paid and then found a bit of welding they hadn't done, showed them and they said, ah don't worry bout it........ i stood there and made them do it before I left 😡
  5. Defo mate, explain that your still gettin wheel wobble at 80 (prime place for it), I had a set of fronts done 3 times, first two times by nippers that didn't have a clue, 3rd time by a proper guy and it was sorted, second nipper actually made it worse than when we started lol
  6. Warming to this more with each viewing 👍
  7. Lols, yeah it's pot luck for sure, I usually buy stuff cheap that needs a bit of spannering done, bit I will be f@£ked if I will ever buy another Subaru after the sh&it ive had with mine, all the things that they say can go wrong have, secondary air system, banjo bolt filters, **** in the avcs system I'm just ordering another oil pick up pipe as I've seen that they crack and fail, and to top it off had it mapped by a **** that messed that up too and ain't sorting it out, got overboost issues when colder temps too now 👌
  8. HAHAHA stop it.... Ya killin me man 😆 Sos youngy 😉
  9. Ah ok, got it now 😜🔫 yeah sounds like nothing major then tbh, good luck with it all !!
  10. Lols ! Well spotted, I've looked at that receipt a few times and not noticed that 😋
  11. Does it bring the oil light up on the dash, if so that's not great as that is set to about 2psi apparently and we need about 10psi for each 1000 rpm, I think my hawk tickover is about 750ish, does it take a while for the oil light on the dash to go out when you start it or is it pretty much immediate, also, if you turn the car off and ignition lights back on after starting, how long before the oil light shows back up
  12. Car looks mental mate, really like it !! Whats the issue with oil pressure at idle, have a google of "wrx oil pick up problems"
  13. Don't matter who it is, you cannot just up a bill by hundreds of pounds without first consulting the customer, a receipt does not prove anything either way tbh tho as no one knows if this work was ok'd or not beforehand, could be malicious feedback or could be totally true, hopefully time will tell and the guys at the clinic will respond, from reading up on them I would expect a response tbh as they usually do try and clear it up
  14. Get your wheels balanced somewhere else, if they did a basic balance it sometimes won't take out a wobble, or they didn't put the weights on the edge of the rim and just banged them in the middle, depending on machine and settings used the weights need to be put in certain places "across" the width of the rim not just in the middle or just on the edge
  15. I also have no idea if it will still drive if it fails completely other than the chance that you'll probably have a driveshaft flailing around under your car smashing everything to bits
  16. If it's just clickin and not knocking It'll take forever'ish to fail if still greased and driven sensibly, but just buy a new one and fit it they are as cheap as chips
  17. Just buy it, you know you WANT to, may work out good, but if it doesn't you'll kick yourself after all the advice against
  18. Sounds mental tho don't it 👍👌
  19. Piece of peeiss to fit, was the bloo-dy relay and associated wiring that's the hard bit lol, they do get people's attention 👍
  20. Surely can't be good for a road going car/daily driver if that's what yours is can it ? spose it's ok for the rally boys that get new parts whenever needed
  21. Yep that's it (22nd Aug tho lol) THREAD LOCKED NO FURTHER POSTS ACCEPTED 😜
  22. Hello mate, I've put them on my hawkeye, fitted the relay and all, then read that you just don't need it, give em a try on your normal wires, gonna try mine without soon as hate stuff on car that's not needed
  23. That's as far as we got at the mo, maybe I'm being impatient ?
  24. He has offered some advice mate, saying it's something rattling or vibrating, then I found it all went away when I disconnected the avcs, so then he was ok I used the cams a bit more so that might explain a little, and to look at it on 22nd or week starting as he was away
