STI 2015
So for a full exhaust at about £1500, remap with ECUTek and dyno time is £550, and a intake pipe at a quick guess is £300? So you're talking £2300 in parts, and then you add labour to install all that, say 3-4hrs at £80per hour (standardish rate) £2600 roughly? You probably could save some money buying parts from other places and installing yourself and just doing the remap, but you're also paying for the convenience of someone else doing it, and that someone else (Clinic) is probably one of the best Subaru specialists about (and that's a fact, Andy F and Clinic both top names in the industry). At the end of the day, it's his choice where he wants to go and how he wants to spend his money.

600bhp What does it take?
It's very common to resleeve instead of closing the deck in the States. I did it on a Honda engine (I know...) I built.

Subaru meet
Haha well that would be a canny drive for me up in Newcastle! Mind you, always wanted to visit there. Hear it's lovely and nice warm weather with palm trees!

ICE Upgrade - any recommendations
I went with a Pioneer. Was going to go for the newer all singing and dancing touch screen only versions, but I'm glad I didn't if I'm honest. I like having the option of being able to touch a button (very useful when going over bumpy roads). Got a 2015 model late last year for £175 shipped which I thought was an alright price. Love the sound quality of Pioneer, don't think you can go wrong with them or Alpine. Unit is nice, has Bluetooth, reverse camera option (debating on buying one, but don't really NEED it), DAB, etc. the DAB is only good if you mount to the window mind, so bear that in mind. Overall though, I'm happy, especially with being able to customize the background 😊

STI 2015
That's all fairly logical talk from Tidgy. If there was a problem with something major when my car went in for something else, of course I would want to know, and as such, I would expect the bill to be higher if the work was agreed and carried out. In saying that, Clinic generally had a good name, but there's always bad reviews. Even the nicest 5 star restaurants will have bad reviews. Generally, from what I've read, Clinic is a good place to go. But to be honest, just drop it Tidgy mate. You're like a Rottweiler if someone says anything bad about Clinic lol not worth getting into argument over. You've said your piece, and all anyone has to do is look at your car as a testament to Clinic's work. Ah, cheers for clearing that up though! Didn't realize Andy didn't use a Dyno. I've started a few emails back and forth with him to see about getting mine in for a map, and that was one of my questions is the last email (he hasn't replied yet).

STI 2015
Hm...Andy Forrest charges £480 for a ECUTek map, and he's one of the best for sure. He also posts different (higher) numbers with more or less the same mods. Mind, it could be bhp he's posting and not whp.

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
That's a great idea! Where do you get the 3M paint protection film? Wonder how it'll look on the blue when I eventually get mine resprayed.

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Yeah no worries. I know I've got a cat back on it, but no idea what size. Backbox is 4" I think 😳 Hmmm, might be the way to go. Will see what happens on Friday (birthday) 😬 Nah not loads of track days for me. I think it'll be ok. Trust AF. I've sent them a email, will ring tomorrow when I finish work if no reply. I reckon if I get a decat I'll be at Level 2.5 😂

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Oooh sweet. Yeah, definitely let me know what you got. Long version yeah or is it the two piece? I'll give them a ring and see what the deal is. I dunno if I'll have the funds or not for then. If I do, I'll have to sacrifice lowering etc. and I'm a bit nervous about mapping in more power on the standard EJ25 😬😂 I know it's doable and fine most likely, but always a risk.

Niceeee! Lemme know when you set yours up! Haha I need to put mine on still! What day are you going to AF? Wonder if we can get a discount if I book in 😉😬😂

Coilovers
Makes sense. Application is Street with maybe the very rare track day, even then it's going to depend. Just got a email about a possible job opening at a company literally around the corner from me so would save loads on fuel every month!

Used Fuel Pump?
It's a 255 I'm looking at. There's one local to me with 500mi on it for £50.

Coilovers
Lol just no wheel gap for me would do. Like 45mm probably front drop. I just don't think 35mm is going to be enough for my liking...honestly don't know what to do. Maybe just get some springs and then if it's not good enough, sell second hand and go for coilovers? Aye I know. I've read some bad reviews of the Tein's which make me hesitant to get them.

Coilovers
The drop though...

Used Fuel Pump?
I know I'm a tight !Removed! as well...just debating if it's worth the £35 or so extra for a new one...

Used Fuel Pump?
So just out of curiosity, is it ok so you think to buy a used fuel pump? I've seen one for about £40 used, but I'm not sure if it's ok to get it used? Says it was only on for around 2k miles?

Hawk Long Downpipe Decat
As title states, looking for one. Don't want to spend a fortune, but needs to be decent condition. Not sure on size yet, but lemme know what you got!
