Worst case if it is, and you can't fix, I'll take it please 😬 Id definitely check out the housing and all your connections. Might of just blown a pipe off?

Seminole81's 2006 Widetrack STi Build
Yep, that's what I was thinking...either that or the fuse was actually gone and it just took a few to reset it 🤔

Lowering Springs?
Yep Whiteline have loads of good reviews on their sway bars etc. but like you said, can't find anything on the lowering springs. Decent price though and we know the rest of their stuff is quality...wondering if they're worth a punt. Says you can use OE with them as well. Just wish the drop was a tad more! Was hoping for just around 30mm, maybe a bit more (coilovers)...

Seminole81's 2006 Widetrack STi Build
So randomly, the rear defrost started working again...no idea what's going on there. All seems to be running smoothly again. Debating on lowering springs or coilovers now...anyways, snuck a few quick low light/dark pics on the way home from work

Lowering Springs?
To be honest, I would plan on upgrading to struts to Koni Yellow or Tokico Blue anyways. I know what you mean, but I don't know many Scoob owners near me that have springs or coilovers. I'm leaning towards springs with new struts, more for ride comfort than anything as I don't plan on doing track days (yet...maybe in the distance future I'll do some, but probably not enough to justify coilovers). Ideally I'd like something so there's no wheel gap, which I know coilovers would give me...

Lowering Springs?
So looking into lowering my car. Kinda of went away from coilovers because I'm not sold on the ride being overly stiff for my daily driver, but I want something with a decent drop rate. Read a lot into a few different brands, some swear by Tein and others say stay away? Anyone have them? Other options, Prodrive or Cobb? A lot of people say RaceComp Engineering Yellows or Blacks are by far the best, but I don't think you can get them in the UK?

350bhp 2.5 engine
Good idea

350bhp 2.5 engine
Start with the little things first, injectors etc. You should be able to push a decent amount out of the stock turbo? And if you're planning on rebuilding, then I'd just run it on the stock internals until it blows personally 😉😂

350bhp 2.5 engine
my mate in the States ran a FP Green, and a full turbo back exhaust and had t mapped on a hawkeye STI for years with no problems mind and I'm pretty sure he was pushing 400 horsies. They don't need too much to make decent numbers from what I've read. Why I was thinking bigger injectors 😂 If you're going to spend the dough, get the bigger ones like you say haha

350bhp 2.5 engine
Hmm, are you ever going to want more than 350? Because you need to build around the turbo sizing. FP Green could get you to 400 pretty easily. But there's loads of turbo choices. Think someone did a thread in the general Subaru area with a list? pistons & rods, Weisco pistons, Carrillo Pistons and rods or Eagle rods? ARP if they make them? Maybe check into head studs etc as well. Injectors at least 800cc probably 1000 I'd say, RC Engineering does good ones. Bearings, Clevite (spelling?) do the ones for NASCAR so they're good. Or there's good ol' ACL as well.
