As Neil at slowboy racing and Sean wiffin of forester parts are down there I think sean is Enfield way if that helps, The paint is thin on subaru but not really seen it on bonnet, front end does take a beating though. Main thing is to run it on premium fuel and keep on top of regular oil changes, and check for rust round the suspension turrets maybe get some waxoil and treat the areas to prevent build Up of crud. Avoid any main dealers and find yourself a localish subaru specialist ad they will be at least half the price of dealer for work, once you have your head round the engine layout it's fairly simple to work on if hand with the spanners.
