  2. Bag it all up then just pop it outside their door explining that it belongs to the dogs they just let roam free. And they sould really be mkre reaponsibe dog woners, Or build a fence.
  3. Gambit has changed his and another member did a similar conversion earlier in the year, I'll try find the thread for you
  4. Is it that long ? If so i'd say it's a uk car as mine is about 8 digits long
  5. Sorry should have read post properly [emoji52] what's it like when you dip from cold ? Mines a pain to read too.
  6. There should be also be a vin number stamped on the bulkhead just above the intercooler, if it's an import will be shorter than uk car, I'll try find the link to decoding vin no's on here somewhere the option and trim code are pointless trying to decipher as no one seems to know much about them
  7. That hot or cold ? Can't tell on phone [emoji20]
  8. Danger of it going bang boost would be all over and have fueling issues possibly, best off to amass parts and save money put them all on the day before the map otherwise you'd have to drive round like a granny everwhere
  9. Ditch the maf with remap ☺ makes sense saves buying a new one and car runs better without it in my opinion

True, didn't know if you paid or pool car or other arrangement, if it had been in slightly different tax bracket would you have made same choice or would you have gone onto a different brand ? Is it on the octavia ? Or do you have another vag product? I don't actually pay to use my work vehicle privately, tax etc but I have the option of 'borrowing' it when needed as insured for sdp somehow on group policy Just curious as obviously will damage wv's rep but I can't see it being their downfall, unless the us supreme Court decides to destroy them, I wasn't intending to have a pop at anyone but at the end of the day there are plenty of owners of different marque's that 'bend the rules' it's just on a massive scale,

I really can't see the problem, if it wasn't for some interfering busybodies in a lab this would have gone un noticed, realistically who honestly thinks vw are the only ones to have either found out a way round emmissions testing or massaged their figures?, no one in the real world ever gets near the combined cycle figures quoted, and at the end of the day we all know some way of cheating a test be it maths at school or something else Should just draw a line in the sand say sorry dish out some compo to those who kick up a fuss etc and pay off the good old us of a !
  12. stants replied to Gambit's topic in Junk Room
Knew it wouldn't be long till I came across it again, it's lost the huge wing since last time, and is on an 'm' registration
  13. Www.importcarparts.co.uk they'll have them.or be able to source some
  14. It's not like other stuff like flashing vw's which is a simple affair, your looking at, ecu/ software, mapper &dyno time but it will be properly set up
  15. Hi mate what have you been quoted ? Anywhere between 400-1000 is normal depending on what ecu you have and what's compatable with your year, and all depends on what kind of features your after as well Some ecu's can run open source software which brings the cost down considerably some need a daughter board grafting on or you could splash out in an all siinging all dancing standalone like syvecs Try giving these a shot http://tdracing.co.uk/
  16. They should all fit from the impreza however the top mounts differ from year to year plus the spring rates will be wrong due to different weights
  17. martins a fair chap so hopefully you'll get it sorted with no fuss
  18. stants replied to quit's topic in Junk Room
Company car ? I know a lad who's just bought a golf and he's affected, say that after the remap or waht ever they will do it's gonna jump up a tax bracket or two
  19. Yeah I reckon so, heat gun may be a bit agressive to be hones, last thing you want is a small fire haha
  20. Should fit fine only the sti's and later cars that are 114, if unsure measure across the stud pattern
  21. I think with a heat gun and patience as your going for respray I take it your not bothered by the damage to the paint below, so could be a bit rougher and use a paint scraper to get underneath when warm
  22. I forgot to post this today http://www.polybush.co.uk/shop/subaru/forester-sf That's the whole lot I think, obviously they are uprated so if you bought oem parts would prob be a 1/3rd of that, Gives you an indication of what you need though,
  23. I wouldn't say defeated but it's deffo taken one for the team
  24. I've hit a wall in me van today aswell so not the best day all round to be fair the wall didn't stand a chance
