If your stuck there's chap called Tony banks in leeds who's just built my mate a system for a vw which looks good and didn't cost the earth Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  4. As far as I'm aware it's only the n/a cars have the low range gearbox, depends on how 'off road' off road is if you see what I mean ? Mine does a bit at the festival each year down dirt tracks through muddy/boggy fields etc and doesn't have any problems plowing through the mud Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  5. I don't want to get a ticket & not have a pass haha ! Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk

  9. Will double check, give me 10 ☺ Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  10. Piper cross, green, k&n all pretty much the same, 'dry' ones are considered better as they don't interfere with the maf. I bought as cosworth one but they need replacing every 10k Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  11. On long steady trips I can see high 30's. Even with a mix of spirited & motorway 33-35 mpg is achievable. If you decide to drive like you stole it then around mid 20's is more realistic. But the grin factor outweighs all the numbers imo [emoji51] Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  12. Haha will the missss be driving by then ? Two scoobs honeymoon at pod Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  13. Not my favourite as it has the facelift front end. Had a little jdm mirror stuck on the front wing too, personally if have had that removed if it was mine Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  14. I can see them, dave that was it me and him ! Although it did need lowering a bit Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  15. Not really 3 staged, it on sat for the show so only 350 miles worth of driving, a few light showers too Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  16. Tried the meguiars waterless cleaner I picked up the other day, it's got to contain some form of witchcraft, works a treat and smells nice Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  17. Got to be some hotels nearby that dont cost the earth ? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  18. Depending on if you know a finely mot tester you could always get it mapped out, as far as I'm aware the mot check is just visual so as long as it looks like it's in place you should be ok Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  19. Hello & welcome no shame in having a gx mate, feel free to get stuck in and have a nosey round Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  20. Essentially the 2.5 is a bored out version of the ej20. I think the pistons are 99mm (don't hold me to this) so means that the block isn't as strong due to the walls being thinner around the pistons, you could get the block pinned in the winter Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  21. Just sleep in the back of the legacy [emoji51] it's big enough Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  22. We said this last year [emoji51] still we did all manage to get our tickets sorted in time for the club stand on Sunday. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  23. Link no work ? Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  24. Hello & welcome, have a look at the buying guide that's lurking around, although it's impreza based it applies to all subaru's things to look out for on the foz are mainly head gasket's but I think the 2.0 is fairly bullet proof ot's more the 2.5 (Mr b will confirm at some point I hope) And check the rear shocks, if it has the self leveling units (sls) and that they are working correctly, easiest way is to park the car on level ground and have a look at the way she sits, if it looks like a dog scraping it's bum on the floor then They will need replacing, don't go to subaru unless you want a giggle or heart attack, they can be replaced for normal shocks and springs at a third of the price subaru will quote for a single sls unit. Apart from that they are great cars and if your into changing a few bits or dressing the engine bay up 90% of the corresponding years impreza bits will fit Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  25. Right after having a poke around clives car on sat, my head is a bit clearer as to where it plumbs in, I think, trouble is I have so much extra in the engine bay compared to others I'm still a bit lost, I take it this is the area I'm looking in From rocker cover ? The one underneath bending left slightly running towards the the topmount Crankcase breather ? All help/advice appreciated as usual [emoji51] Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
