  1. High flow panel filter, exhaust & fuel pump will get you around the 270 mark from a td04 turbo, so roughly 45-50bhp increase, depends on what exhaust you go for price wise, but a grand is a ball park figure all in
  2. Ah well got home tonight to find water adaptor and replacement sender has arrived but I need to re wire the oil temp as it's not even lighting up on ignition so somethings wrong there
  3. Does it have a black bonnet ? Saw a blue 54 plate sti followed by a rusty orange coloured blob with black going past the prison yesterday
  4. Yep I used a socket with hex head, it's threadlocked in too so it takes a bit of force,
  5. You'll need an adaptor as the hole under no 3 is blanked off, i'm in the process of moving my pressure from n03 to the alternator, and sticking temp in 3. DO NOT BUY THE GALLEY PLUG FROM SUBARU it's threaded bsp where as your sender will be ntp. So you can either get a complete relocation kit from the usual outlets or just the galley plug adaptor with an ntp thread http://www.scoobyparts.com/interior/gauges-fitting-pods/oil-pressure-oil-temperature-gauge-fitting-kit So the braided line and silver thing go under alt in original sender hole and you screw the sender in at the back, or you can but just the nut and stick that directly in the block at no3 and put sender in
  6. Just get a non silicate based one as above the oat stuff will be fine, just put a hose pipe in the top hose and leave it running with bottom hose disconnected and the rad for 5 mins that will wash out all the old stuff then what ever you put in won't react with the old stuff
  7. Depends which 'prime' as it's a bit confusing, as there is prime tv and amazon prime delivery, to make matters worse they told the misses she was being upgraded to 'prime' cut the TV off and sent her stuff free delivery
  8. Moved boost/op from left side of dash to centre last night, powered all up and stopped working, so came to work early re soldered everything now works, Awaiting an npt threaded galley plug to attach oil temp to, now just need to find out what the hell this means perm live or just ign live & negative ? Unlike you impreza chaps I don't have a clock on the dash to take power from so I wnat to get it right as I'm about to hack into the demister button or hazards [emoji50]
  9. Ain't work out why new sender won't go into the block arrrghing ! So now at work with car in bits
  10. It's made so much difference in the way it engages the clutch and drives, I guess it had lost of of it's properties and the clutch was biting ever so slightly, made a horrible noise when driving too. For the cost of a turkey baster (50p) and 6 for some fluid it's well worth it
  11. Mine looked like this last week [emoji33] Didn't do a full bleed yet but sucked out as much as I could and replaced with fresh then repeat the process weekly for a month if you can' be bothered doing a full bleed
  12. Don't you already have buckets in the front ? That set doesn't look in brilliant condition really
  13. On go pro lol it was too muted
  14. Can't always go by colour I have pink/orange o.a.t stuff in at the mo, rather stupidly they never got together and said right this colour will be xx. So any company cam make it what ever colour it likes [emoji35]
  15. Did a vid clip but it's rubbish had wrong back door on so will do a better one later on
  16. To be honest I wouldn't bother unless your going for 360bhp + the standard air box is quite effective
  17. New op sender and water temp sender adaptor. I'm pretty much stuck now till they arrive as I could remove the existing t peice and pop in the oil temp but no point taking most of it apart twice, Off to buy a new soildering iron haha
  18. Could be anywhere according to the Internet, main computer in early models is under seat with gps receiver in back of car, some have it in the dash and others centre console by all accounts
  19. Is it from cold or all the time ? Could be one of many things but ad Clive advised me have a look atvthe clutch fluid in the slave and if it's haggard pull it and pop some fresh stuff in see how it goes, if it's noticable may be worth doing a full bleed, Also could be down to worn engine mounts but yours is quite young so shouldn't be an issue, some good upgrades are group n pitch mount & gearbox mount & carrier bushes as the oem ones are a bit weak Oe on lef, sti right Oe gearbox mount & crossmember bushes Sti/group n mount, less holes &stronger rubber
