  1. Well just got back from elvington as I felt like a right lemon as on me Todd and not taking part in any events, was still a fair bit of setting up of cars going on etc manage to empty half a tank in twenty mins [emoji51]
  2. Haha even better, no idea how I managed it to be fair Haha long run to whitby with the family probably helped as just cruised up and back again then the rest was all urban ish,
  3. Is that a hint of envy i detect ?
  4. Somehow managed to average 40mpg last week ? 28.1litres= 6.1 gal ÷257 miles Of my maths is wrong please shoot me On another note, about to set off to Elvington for the jgm memorial
  5. Hi mate welcome, Looks good although the gear stick isn't to my taste, looks better with the bonnet back to original
  6. Normally start with the furthest away from the master cylinder, so n/s rear, o/s rear, n/s front o/s front
  7. Haha well should have seen it tonight when I told her I had tomorrow off and am going to Elvington.
  8. Stop rubbing it in gambit, I would be there if I hadn't double booked, shame we didn't get more last year
  9. I guess you can have what ever you want, can you load different skins up and customise them ? If you can I'd have oil temp oil pressure, water temp and boost, Those are the main ones to keep tabs on really
  10. What is it ?
  11. Sounds like there's an issue there as far as I'm aware the right one as you look at it is purely for cooling and the left one is just for ac. Maybe there's a short and it's affecting the operation of both,
  12. ****** sorry deleted the last post read it as a duplicate, Re header tank between half way and if you look carefully there's a max line there too
  13. Sounds like it, [emoji26] a bad earth or something,do both fans come on when you use the ac ?
  14. There's a min line about 2inch from the bottom of the tank so just fill to where the neck opens up a bit.
  15. Sorry I thought I'd replied stupid phone !
  16. Not sure mate, I know mine has a double cage but newage may be different, Here's a bad pic of mine (sorry) the stereo is upside down so pocket at bottom when in the car
  17. North east or further afield ? On in Sheff on Monday bit of a trek for you though ?
  18. When was the map done ? chances are it's running a little rich on start up shouldn't be anything to worry about, white when warm = bad. blue anytime =bad
  19. Haha, no I was poking around underneath last week and couldn't see owt, that's when we looked at everything, d bushes (new) pads, although we couldn't replicate it on the lift, stupidly I didn't have my calipers to hand to measure the steering rack bush as there's two sizes and you know if I just order I'll get the wrong one
  20. Literally it's not even on a quarter turn and it does it the other times nothing on various lock for a week
  21. Those are the next bushes on the list [emoji51] How's yours running ? Or you still overseas ?
  22. Yours is probably the rear struts, common issue on your sti mate. I'm just stumped as to what it is can't be much left to renew
  23. There is somewhere I'll have a dig around, if you've got the pocket and the single din should be easy enough, have you got the single din cage ? I'd fit the pocket at the bottom 1st then stereo on top
  24. Hello welcome, have you done an ecu self code check ? Easiest way on yours is to get a cheap odb scanner off eBay and an app for your phone, least that way when it does it you can interrogate the ecu immediately. Could be something as simple as cleaning out the idle control valve or checking the spark plug leads, did any of the garages perform any diagnostics ? You could be suffering from fuel starvation, may be worth checking the fuel pump voltages too
  25. BP bl etc I guess it's a mk 4 ? Not too clued up on leggys
