  1. Dunno, topped up burped and ran for 5 mins saw leak and stopped engine, waited for it to cool and re done, back to office shortly so I'll have another look
  2. Water temp sender installed, now to stop it weeping
  3. Hi mate, not sure what a shock fix is I'll have a look but I'm sure any good garage would be able to do it . Where abouts are you based ? There's probably a good subaru independent near ish same with the bushes/ drive train, a good mechanic will know what he's doing, You'll be able to hear the injectors clicking away at low speeds and especially it idle, if you intend to keep the car for a bit it may be worth investing in a remap ad it will be better in the long run for the engine and you'll get more mpg torque and maybe a slight increase in hp The pads do have wear indicators but it would make a racket all the time not just under breaking, maybe the new ones need to bed in a bit more ? Sounds about right for the rack it may have a quicker one than the regular models
  4. Ah ok, I've been looking and there are some that are roughly the same length and depth but the width is 20mm bigger on others
  5. Ah hairy muff, I don't really know that much about them I only have standard recirc in elbow & if I was to replace i'd get a forge like for like, not much use really haha
  6. 2nd the cobra comment, I have a turbo back resonated system, quiet enough not to **** people off in morning but once you get going it sounds good.
  7. Checked the cabin filter box today turns out there isn't a filter installed, I have all the box &pipework that is needed and it's attached to the hvac system ? Been reading on the Internets that the filter was just an option on the older models, can somone point me in the right direction of a replacement filter or part no for a blueprint one ? [emoji1]
  8. Do you have a different i/c to what it's supposed to fit? I've seen the elbow on sti coolers I'd that helps
  9. Thought I'd check the cabin filter, the airbox is there but no element,
  10. I'm not clued up on new age, take a punt at possibly a spec c ?
  11. Hmm nice looking bits there mate ☺
  12. Have you tried having a look at their website/fitting guide ? http://www.turbosmartusa.com/instructions-downloads I know it's the us site but it can't be much different
  13. Speak to Tlag if I remember he has/had a legacy converted
  14. Not unless your sticking your leg over the centre console ☺ the seats are comfy you do sit quite high I swapped mine for a set of impreza fronts as you sit about an inch and a half lower
  15. What hose mate ? I know one fits on the nipple at the top of the bov ?
  16. 330 in a classic will be plenty rapid, is he coming down Monday ?
  17. I'm not completely sure but a fair few of the early cars had them, same with the old legacies all had closed blocks, specially with if it's an import you never know what's under the bonnet
  18. Lol I've tried just about all the different ways using a makeshift setup from the clock feed, so I'm gonna give it one last go from a different source and see how taht goes, Sounds about normal level of drop there on the fuel gauge, I can have half a tank and drive home then it's 3/4 empty, thing is when you look in the tank there's loads left.
  19. There will be slightly different parts and maybe a closed deck block if he's lucky, depending on the month of manufacture. So easier to get big power out of as you won't need to source a new block
  20. May be worth giving www.importcarparts.co.uk a shout they might be able to source parts or put you onto someone who can
  21. 75 -90 is what you need, I presume they are the same but I'd double check
  22. Which part of the gauge is the drop on ? Pt3 of my wiring fun, so I can only get the gauges to work if headlights are on, so ran a different acc feed still no luck thought about connecting the lighting curcit up to get it to change colour, now just stays orange, and you still need the lights on, checked the earth and what not, don't reply know where to look next ?
