  1. http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f95/cobb-accessport-stage-1-xt-auto-1954/#/forumsite/20556/topics/1954 older car but shows it can be done
  2. I presume they use the same denso ecu's so carberry & ecutek should be available, when dunc replies see what he recommends. There's plenty of us owners who use cobb access port may be worth rooting round on forester.org
  3. Yep you'll see the difference, you can get under body braces for the front and rear if you want to go for the full works
  4. A few bits more if you really want
  5. I forgot about oil temp sensor so the oil temp straight into block downwards, crank sensor goes right side of pic an the water should be the one that's facing away in your pic towards the rear of the car
  6. I can see it [emoji51] i'd hazard a guess ti sat it's the one going directly down but I'll have a further dig around
  7. Nice ! Do they differ in price to the others ? I should really measure my plates just to be on the safe side haha
  8. Ipc do some key blanks, no idea if that's any good ?
  9. Ah ok are you on tapatalk or desktop site ?
  10. Nowt wrong with them mate, some say it's a waste of money but I definitely felt a difference when I put mine on
  11. I'd go with the 35 quid then St least if they break ir some more they'll have to cough up or fix it
  12. No worries mate, if your stuck call import car parts Monday morning and you'll have it Tuesday if they have stock
  13. http://www.subaru4you.co.uk/cooling/radfor.shtml about half way down the page yours is squarer than mine but it's the same length width & depth I think you have an extra hose coming off it
  14. Mine wasn't listed either but i called them and they said it was the same as a legacy/impreza of the same year, he emailed me a pic of UK type and jdm type rads so I could choose the correct one, Where abouts are you ? Northern radiators stock them up my way I guess you'll have a similar company near you.
  15. That's good enough mate looks like yours is a UK type rad, does it step down an inch towards the other end ? Import car parts will have one, just give them a ring as it's easier to avoid any confusion
  16. Have a look at savage 's build thread he's done the conversion
  17. Hi mate welcome, is yours a UK car & can you take a pic of the top of the rad ? Mine uses a classic impreza shaped rad but it's 3 years older I know uk cars have different shaped rads but don't know when they changed them. Www.importcarparts.co.uk stocks both types for around a ton. Exedy blue box clutch kits suitable for up to 300bhp are around 230 From subaru specialists online. Not sure about the whine is it like a whistling/whine could be the turbo ?
  18. It's quite simple to use once to u've got your head round well worth 5 -10 quid
  19. Good news on the find, did you end up ordering a new rad or did you manage to find it before ?
  20. Hi & welcome, if the engine was shot you'd here a horrible knocking sound above 3k. Google subaru rod knock for an idea When you say judder is it across the entire rev range or only at ertian points ? May be a hole in one of the vac lines or poor fuel delivery 15 mpg does sound very low, could be a number of things but your O2 sensor could be dead and over fueling and causing the stutter too
  21. Fuel pump, exhaust, map, d/v , brake upgrade & rears. Handling kit Dunno what that comes to but anything else after on the cosmetics, would be my way of doing it
  22. Day off up to the coast glorious weather came across this
  23. Ah well the 6/5 would be ok. polly bush the suspension parts as they need replacing and Watch your teeth rattle out [emoji51]
