At what thickness is it recomended to change discs ? I know they start life at 24mm I'm going to measure mine up today as I could do with some pads

How much more is the sti to run ? Which is the more practical? Obviously the hatch is a lot newer and has more creature comforts so you'd have to weigh up what you want long term

Arrgh ! Don't suppose your parked near a radio mast/ telecoms or substation ? These all play havoc with the alarm This is for older models but the sigma alarm hasn't changed much in operation may be of some use

I'm still getting a knocking sound at low speed maneuvers from the front and want a few ideas as to where to look next, so far she's had new struts & springs topmounts arb bushes & solid droplinks which stopped 90% of the noises, but sometimes I feel a clunk through the pedals almost like the pedal box isnt secure, so don't think it's entirely suspension related, I'm thinking of changing the steering rack bushes next Maybe it's missing a retainer clip on the pads so I'll look at them soon, is there anything you guys have come across or ideas that I can look into next?

It lasts up to 5 years so well worth it and one pot will do about 5 cars as it goes along way

Have you checked for any fuel line issues or a weak fuel pump ?

Imports come with no underbody protection at all, UK cars have some applied before they leave the factory, Pro's preserve the life of the car, drives out moisture and kills any little bits of rust before they take hold, Cons, you need to clean the underside of the car before applying, so either pay somone to do it £500 plus for a full seam clean, dry, then application or the cheaper diy method of jacking up crwaling underneath with a wire brush and removing all the loose dirt and crap then apply new underseal. I've used the waxoil spray kit which was a total night mare, loads of overspray on bits I didn't want covering ie manifold & exhaust and it's even messier than the stuff you brush on as it just keeps on coming out even when you've backed off the pressure For the sake of 15-20 quid for a pot of underseal A spray can of underseal and a wire brush/paint brush maybe two hours i'd go diy.

I always use waxoil or dintriol Find the hammerite underbody stuff in a pot goes on easier but takes longer, and generally lasts a bit longer than the spray. I use the rattle cans to get into areas I can't reach. I'm lucky mine was professionally done when it was 1st imported so I only have to top up every year or so Before After

Have you got a donor system to drop in ?

I was skeptical of them at 1st as they were half the price of everywhere else but after receiving the hoses they are just as good as Samco etc. Was on the phone to them and they said they make big volumes hence passing the savings onto the customer, plus they usually have stock so no waiting 8 weeks for them to be made

Yeah they are all moving away From it due to cost and lower emmissions, not driven anything with it installed

At the end of the day ultimately all your doing with the bracing is adding weight, so just strut mounts will see a big improvment. Unless your tracking the car it's not really necessary.

Yes mate I have the SF lowering kit, but mine was so dead it actually brought the car up in height at the rear [emoji51] I haven't had any problems and it hey come with a two year warranty. I replaced the top mounts with oem spec kyb's at the same. Recently went to the dales with misses baby and travel cot pram food etc and the car didn't move You can get the ez strut set up I think it's called which has the top mounts included they also do different springs for extra load carrying capabilities if your not sure on what to go for give them a bell and they'll help
