Is the alarm cutting power after a certain amount of time and thats why it crashes half way through the write process ? Think you may need the keys to a new ecu as they are programmed together. Could be wrong though

Haha that's what looks like is happening to mine, either the synchro between 2nd &3rd or the clutch it's self is on the way out.

Tom, should be underneath the glove vox, may have to remove it to get the filter out, That's the easy bit,fitting it all back in is a nightmare
