  1. Somone on the foz forum got one on a Japanese bank holiday for a steal as there wasn't as many bidding on it.
  2. Container best way then cheaper too by the time you've got two in. How longs a subaru ? May even get three in and sell recoup some pennies. Do it ! Do it !
  3. There was also an off green almost duck egg blue colour in my local dealer thought that looked a bit strange, i'd choose black over that all day
  4. Saw a black one in Harrogate yesterday looked very stealthy
  5. It's hard work, looked into it a while back as bargains can be had, i'd pay to get someone to do it, hence why new era and the rest of them charge you handsomely for the pleasure. You got to find it, Get it to the point of export, Get it De registered in the country of origin, and ready for importation into UK. Not sure how strict our laws are about seeds grass mud etc still being on or in the car Find someone willing to ship it, a RORO cargo vessel i far cheaper but then you risk the people loading/unloading nicking bits, container would be best. PAY for above shipping, insurance dock fees etc. Wait six to eight weeks and hope it's not been hijacked by pirates, Get it off the boat in UK, pay for storage, import tax, vat prepped for an sva if needed buy model report I'd needed prep for UK, fogs mph/kmh etc. Sva test and mot. Probably pay more tax along the line.
  6. It's the same on classics too just a slightly different shape facia
  7. Did you get subaru ones or an aftermarket set rick ?
  8. I was under the same impression Pete, three seems to be acceptable any more then they ramp up the cost
  9. Mine was a tight fit hsd to grapple with it the 1st time, can you reach under the trim and hold the back of the port ? I just had to persist and wiggle it loads before it came free
  10. Suppose it depends on your budget really, at the end of the day what ever route you tale you'll be into the thick end of five hundred notes for the most basic of set ups, Tidy, do you have a toucan connected to the syvecs ?
  11. [emoji418] [emoji371] ooooh suits you sir !
  12. May as well get genuine, Lots of nice goodies here http://subaruonlineparts.com/exterior-accessories-c-238_255_262.html not sure what you need to fit it but mines drilled into the roof
  13. Nice mate, My problem is I can't stop injuring myself whist on a bike weather manual powered or mechanically, least the speeds are alot lower on one of those [emoji51]
  14. What bikes that in your profile pic ? Always wanted a trials toy but never got round to persuading everyone that I'll be sensible enough [emoji51] Hope the shop does a good job, when's she due back ?
  15. Could always stick a sock over the end, looks like a lot of gx owners remove the snorkel
  16. Www.craigsplates.co.uk
  17. Mot tester failed me on it though as he was testing as a mx5 not an import. Divvy, I even took what ven has cut and pasted to him, plus the v5 and import docs. Asked me if I thought I knew the law better than he did. I said obviously I did took it to another testing station flew through on the same plate [emoji51] which reminds me I may go for another small oblong plate if it fits, not a fan of my square one at the front
  18. Just get one made as small as the law allows. Had this on mine for 3 years never got stopped once, if the anpr camers can read them you shouldn't have a problem
  19. This turned up today ! Will finally be able to data log and read my ecu for fault codes using the ssm software
  20. There should either be a manual over ride on the ballast, or have you tried removing the fuse and seeing if they reset ?
  21. Didn't nick have his done at GR ?
  22. Gr performance rotherham
  23. Well I'm gonna pay my friendly subaru specialist to do it for me as I don't have the correct tools and I'm tempted to change the rear trailing arm bushes at the same time due to them looking very dead
  24. fingers crossed it will be a hole in your oil filter or something cheap & easy
