  1. Easy way to see how the maf is condition wise is to run the car then Unplug it if it stalls straight away then it's usually fine, if it keeps running then it's ****
  2. Have you tried mark Richards, Keith, michaels & sky insurance ? All brokers normally a bit cheaper than the other sites
  3. When ever's good for you, i'm round town all day every day.
  4. I'll take the oil cap off you mate [emoji51]
  5. Go for quicker spool, got to think will you be runing into 5-6k rev range on the road regularly or would you want it to get there faster without the need to be smashing it everwhere ?
  6. Give dunc (racedynamix) a mail he'll come to you, if your willing to travel there's , Andy forrest in Scotland, or bob rawle Andy Carr or scooby clinic, have a read around as people have differing opinions on all of them
  7. Yep you can see there's no bits cut out in the middle of this one, Loads of goodies here http://www.scoobyparts.com/sti-parts
  8. That lot was around a ton and if you want to do the the engine mounts they are the Same price for sti stuff
  9. If they were falling apart yes if the were just worn maybe not, I put a new gearbox mount in at Christmas and it made everything nice and tight don't get half as much judder as I used to My old one
  10. Most likely be the droplinks (rubbish design) or anti roll bar bushes, could even be the suspension top mounts, but I'd doubt it, I've changed pretty much everything for new bushes etc and still get a dull thud/clunk from time to time,
  11. Could be a paddle clutch inside, very worn engine &gearbox mounts can cause excessive judder too
  12. Gutted for you mate at least the garage has done the proper thing
  13. Was gonna say you'd have had to have been doing something really daft to loose it on that stretch unless it started to pee it down
  14. There's a hefty jdm tax on that it's only worth about 3k in my opinion, the rest is probably shipping fees
  15. Mainly us but they have eu/aus/ sections etc
  16. Only ever seen a couple on the trader/import sites. There's a couple of owners on forester.org but that's about it
  17. essentially the same apart from ours don't have a pre cat in the up pipe
  18. Seen this and the other one that's on there far to much if you ask me, considering you can buy a newer 04/05 plate fsti for 2k more
  19. Yeah 2.5 is standard, there's one in the downpipe and one in a 2nd pipe then mid section and backbox unless it's been modified already
  20. Should do, are you going for just the downpipe both cats deleted or Just one ? Just make sure you get the right size at the mid section to match
  21. Decat you'll here everything ! [emoji51]
  22. I've no idea mate, try dropping savage bulldogs a pm he's taken then apart before, didn't realise you had to split the hot and cold sides to get at the pipes,
  23. Trouble is with ours is the engine bay gets so hot the cone ends up getting heatsoaked unless you remove the resonator and stick it in the wing recess, wouldn't be ideal if your wading through big puddles [emoji52]
  24. No worries mate, glad to be of some help, wideband lambda sensors are for monitoring air fuel mix, normally used when mapping although people fit them to highly modded engines so they can keep an eye on things before they go bang [emoji50]
  25. You'll need bigger wheels to accommodate the four pots, i'd go with a panel filter not much point in going for a cone, unless your after bigger power, may be worth investing in a remap aftwr the exhaust and filter should see better mpg too
