  1. Cool I'll see what I can dig up may not be this evening, have you had the case off ? Could do with the rom id but I've no idea without plugging it in if you can get it of anything printed inside ?
  2. Have a look at black diamond they do pads and discs which seem to be competitively priced and have good reviews, plus the website lists models years and disc size. If your not bothered about drilled or grooved then I'd go pagid
  3. I can try mate, worth a pop
  4. I'm slowly getting there found a load of tactrix open port drivers so I'll have a play around later
  5. I'd it's odb2 it should work, If I've no joy connecting your more than welcome to try the cable looks like the ecuflash reads the rom memory decides what version ecu you have then loads the parameters and you can then alter and re flash. Any idea what ecu number yours is rick ?
  6. Sorry about the pics didn't have time to do it properly
  7. I've just looked at the evo software for links to drivers and found the taxtrix stuff if you got the evoscan cable and look for ecuflash it gives you loads of stuff about getting into the subaru ecu so that may work rick
  8. My ex used to work for the claims team, you being the sender will receive the compo just takes a while
  9. Just get a 44galon drum make some homebrew wine and stick a hand pump on top !
  10. Thanks again for the link mr b turns out out i have a copy of the software on my laptop it just doesn't work with my cable, back to the drawing boartd
  11. Right bit long winded but here we go, if I want to map I need esl cable and their software, the software alone won't work with other cables as it has a dongle in. The evoscan software & cable will allow me to log data and read eml codes, however it's not best by all accounts and you need to manually input your ecu id to make it work correctly, the software is basically an amalgamtion of loads people's reverse engineering of the jecs ecu's so it's buggy at best, Evoscan customer service is crap I've emailed last week but not heard owt back regarding cable drivers, I need a virtual com port to usb to allow the cable to talk with the laptop, then I have to see if it will read my ecu. So if I can't get it to work I'll put it on the bay and buy the esl cable & software Which I know is guaranteed to work
  12. Been for a day out with the family, returned to car and had some lunch, when an evo pulls into the car park, drives all way round and proceeds to pull up next to me, thought they may have wanted to chat. Made my day when these two got out
  13. No worries mate,no idea about the fuse as mine's all in Japanese
  14. The black ones should be there maybe taped up hidden underneath
  15. New zeeland mate ! Thought they were a us company till went to pay, Yeah I deffo can't map with it I wanted it to be able to log more than anything else, as it stands it's useless cos I can't make it connect with laptop so I'm going to ask my mate who works in I.t to have a look before I sell it on
  16. How much power you running ? Rears only handle about 25% of the braking force so no real need to go all out on the rears unless your pushing loads of extra power
  17. Good news mate, had to be something simple, good customer service from dunc too. Cheech, that looks really good
  18. The website in the post above, they do odb2 stuff aswell, i'm struggling to find the driver for the cable, doing my head in so given up for tonight
  19. Running a little too much boost ? Only thing I can think of is that or the 3port isn't works as should
  20. I'm on the cusp of odb2 I have the odb2 style port but only odb1 pins.
  21. Haha it's like a drop in center for blokes hiding from their wives/scooby refugee centre
  22. Ssm plug. If you have the port should be somewhere to the left of the clutch pedal, mainly on older cars Ssm1/odb1 plug note only 4 pins
  23. Nah paid the guys at Sheff subaru service for the pleasure, glad I did as I'd have got !Removed! off haha. Mine was the least of there troubles last Monday, Good garage they let you hang round and generally poke stuff along with general banter.
