  1. Hello welcome, great 21st prezzie, it all depends on how much you want to spend on mods, be a n/a car there's not a great deal of work you can do without spending a lot of money, maybe an air filter and with the exhaust you'll be restricted by the equal length headers to release in the boxer sound, so you could go cat back exhaust but it won't sound exactly like a turbo, I'd go for handling and lightness as you still have a very potent car so maybe look at upgrading the suspension components make it turn in and get the power down better. Anyway welcome and get some pictures up when you've bought her
  2. Nope bit of sleet in the air but mainly pouring down
  3. I doubt it, we hardly ever get any either all down the east coast Vale of York and the mids or West of the pennines and north but always misses us
  4. looks like we're not gonna get any [emoji25]
  5. Yeah looks good have you tried it with the kids in yet? My mates golf was sweet until he went on holiday, 4UP and a boot full ended up ripping the rear tyre up as he'd not accounted for the extra haha
  6. According to the misses iPhone weather forecast 19.00 tonight although it's !Removed! down now.
  7. And on the hunt for a thicker rear arb got a couple of breakers getting back to me in the new year
  8. Blanket arrived on Tuesday fuel pump should be here sometime next week, still no arrival on time on y pipe [emoji35] I'll get some pics up but the droplinks aren't the most exciting haha. Managed to sort top hose leak but seem to have lost a little coolant, in expansion tank so will be looking into that
  9. Either that or put the window through and push it out the way !
  10. Haha I hope your roads are in better conditions than ones around here [emoji51] that's looking low
  11. Should have just called the law they'd have towed it and the owner would have had to pay all costs involved, we get it at work all the time with people parking across our car park even though there's a big yellow line on the road.Best part is when they come back thinking the cars been stolen. [emoji51]
  12. No they don't have them seems daft really, There are after market ones available or you could make your own out of a mesh you can get for auto factors,
  13. Looked at the trubo blanket and thought how the hell am I gonna do that in situ . Need to fit a new downpipe gasket anyway so taking that off mat be the weekend job
  14. To be honest I've not found running a subaru as finally ruinous as any other car. Admittidly I'm not 20 anymore and I doubt I'd have managed to get insured at that age
  15. Been hunting for a classic 18-20mm arb trip to dewsbury jap breakers turned out fairly productive just a shame the couldn't be arsed with lifting off the dead sport to get at what I think Is what I want
  16. Haha even without the dashcam evidence, that's the worst excuse for a crash ever, what does you running into the person in front have to do with the person behind's stopping distance ? They should have seen the traffic further down the road was slowing and driven accordingly, that's the trouble with people they only look at the car directly in front.
  17. Have a word with gambit,he's in the process of looking into the conversion himself,
  18. Or look at finding an import, avoid horrendous tax brackets [emoji51] I'm not sure but I think the jdm cars kept with the 2L engine as they prefer it
  19. Turbo blanket [emoji3] ever since I had the new exhaust put on I've had no heat shield as the ly didn't bother to modify the stock cover looking forward to a cooler engine bay now
  20. This finally arrived from the states [emoji51] so I will have something to unwrap on Thursday morning
  21. Anyone know if these can be fitted to a classic ? Looks the same
  22. Whether any of what I've been told is true is another matter, it left the factory with 237bhp so I think there maybe some truth in what he was telling me,
  23. No only two pots but I've been told by a member over on the forester oc that the foz has bigger pistons than the wrx so up to 260 should be ok, he's since upgraded to 4's and says that the difference & effectiveness isn't that much. I'd have to go bigger wheels and what not
  24. I know how you feel the bloke at the hand carwash attacked the scoop with the lance, spent all night re aligning the fins. I'll leave the injectors thanks as I'm old looking to get 260ish out of mine, I just want it running better, may send the 380's off for a clean when I've a spare week. I'm tempted by the cooler as I've got a set of silicone hoses on order, weather they'll actually arrive is another matter as I've been waiting since October I'll email again after Christmas see what's going on.
