Thanks for the heads up, at 1st I thought it was the synchro but today It's been snagging going into every gear. If I double De clutch it's ok. I'I'm having the bearing sorted on Monday so I'll ask then

Haha that's what looks like is happening to mine, either the synchro between 2nd &3rd or the clutch it's self is on the way out.

I believe that the gx uses a map sensor instead of a maf sensor -
Tom, should be underneath the glove vox, may have to remove it to get the filter out, That's the easy bit,fitting it all back in is a nightmare

Sounds like a fair price mate, considering what's gone into her, I dread to think how much I've spent but like you say it's a hobby. Good luck with the sale if you decide to move her on sooner rather than later

Ok, well if you don't get the engine light sorted before the mot it will fail. You'll need a friendly tester if it foesn't have a cat in anyway

Hello welcome ☺ We did try and get a leeds meet going last year but it didn't take off, don't know if that saying something about me ! But they never came back or sold up. There's a meet at Sheffield subaru services on the 20th Anyway we've had a few more members join from our area recently so I'll see if we can get something up and running again. What part of Leeds are you from ?

Most mappers are willing to travel, there's open source software called carberry which is cheaper than ecutek as you don't have to pay the £150 licence fee

Sounds like it needs a remap as the turbo will be expecting some back pressure from the cats. It will also get rid of the eml that's being thrown by the O2 sensor and you'll be able to have the boost come in earlier with no spiking
