so have you run any diagnostics to see if any codes show up ? i don't know about the diesels but is it the alarm beep or the dashcam ?

quite possible something is open or the alarm thinks it is...could also be battery related.. am sure other wiser heads will offer other suggestions..

fitting some Raptor headers would prolly give you more gain than a remap on its' own.. as i understand it, a cossie filter, V-power or Tesco 99, a decent xhaust system and then a remap ...even then you'd be lucky to see anymore than 25/30 xtra...

finally fitted an OEM AUX socket in the cubby with a (NLA) harness made up by another scooby owner.. now i get to listen to my own tunes ! and get incoming calls thru the speakers as a bonus...via the AUX on the head unit.

personally i find acceleration is best on the auto 3ltr when using the paddles (or M on the stick) in S#, no need to wait for 7000 revs before changing up...it's out of breath by then jmo..

probably the only disadvantage to permanent 4x4 is the mpg...any conventional equivalent fwd or rwd will be better... hence why a lot of manufacturers offer fwd with an option button to kick in 4x4 if the going gets rough... p.s. using v-power shell or equiv' will add approx 2/3 mpg and make it run cleaner/smoother...worth the extra few pence imo...

i'd try some "all terrain" boots if you're going green-laning... mud pluggers are likely to be a bit harsh on tarmac. and prolly worth getting a metal sump guard... jmo.

What is the purpose of this sensor? purely to send mV readings from the exhaust gas to the EC module which as MrB says govern the rich/lean fuel settings. a u/s one can cause all sorts of erractic running/idling and high fuel use amongst other things.
