March 7, 20169 yr Im looking at getting some carbon fibre parts for my classic like scoop and vortex generator but as i look on the websites near enough all of them state that they fit 96 to 01 gc8 shape this confused me abit because i thought the gc8 shape was the same from 93 apart from small things like the grill. Can someone let me know if there is a difference between my 94 and a 96
March 7, 20169 yr Shouldn't be there was a facelift around 96/97 I think but 90 % of parts will fit, have a look at HT auto's
March 8, 20169 yr There was a facelift for versions 5 and 6. Versions 1 to 4 were very similar with a few differences. Basically upto 98 is version 4. Version 5 starts at 99
March 8, 20169 yr What front end is on yours ? The difference between late 96 v3 and 92 to early 96 v1&v2 is. Rear bumper ,Grill ,headlights, bonnet , bonnet vents and scoop . March 8, 20169 yr Author Yeah it's a vortex generator im looking at getting they are all sold as 98 plus so version 5-6 but there are no differences in the roof is there? So it should fit my version 4 right? Ahah

March 8, 20169 yr Author It sits on the rear of the roof glued on top and has a part on each side that sits in place under the black trim running down the sides. Ive bought one before and it didn't fit but only by an inch or 2 which makes me think it could have just been a bad batch.
March 8, 20169 yr I'd imagine it would fit fine but I've never looked into sticking things onto mine ...... I'm thinking removing bits to make it lighter 😊 If it's not broke .....upgrade it 😊

March 9, 20169 yr Author The idea of a vortex generator is to create more downforce , I don't know if they make any kind of noticeable change ( I doubt it ) but I just like how they look
March 9, 20169 yr Mine has one on it does look good, I think the guy who put it on didn't quite put enough glue on it as its a bit flappy but I don't want to cover my car in glue either It is one of those I take it?
