Had a weekend in York... was wet and cold and I missed the snow :(

 

So we went to Barnard Castle today, Yay snow! :)

 

Was very impressed with my winter tyres, no issues at all on the snow or ice.

 

Gave my car a quick wash n wax when I got home... was covered in nasty salt. ewww

Just got a letter through the post telling me that Shelley Motors where I bought my car from is no longer a Subaru dealer. It was a new dealer when I got mine, so that didn't last long!

It's got its first service due next month too, so time to find another dealer I suppose...

been debating if ive bit off more than i can chew with a rescue project.

will upload one in a moment, its a 2.o non turbo, mrs thought it would be nice to rebuild it as it was really neglected and abused.

Well mine is on its last business run of the year tomorrow off to sunny Hull, can't help thinking though it's not going to be sunny, but at least it is my last work outing for the year.

So far mine has had 4 new tyres, brake discs and pads front and back, handbrake shoes replace, coolant etc checked and topped up, some very dodgy wiring (from a previous chav sound system) checked safely re-done.

This is my non turbo previously kicked around , now new family member

Looks good mate :) I'm not to good with tapatalk so shouldn't worry about it to much.

It's not as gd in the flesh needs some major work, obvious ones are rust, next is new shocks , it's got a leaky diff, generally needs a whole lot of tlc. Over time I will add the progress, hopefully all goes well and eventually me and the Mrs will be proud to show him off.
