All details exchanged, she didn't want to go through insurance so just gonna take it to a couple of bodyshops and she's going to pay, randomly there's a mark next to the right of the light cluster, properly !Removed! up her n/s wing and door though [emoji23]

Honestly I'm not sure had a conversation last night after the bump with my dad which was a bit cryptic to say the least, just told me 'I can't say much but hang fire on repairing the car for a month or two' ??

lol if you were to change it, what would you 'like' to change to - a newer Foz, an Impreza, something else?

Depends mate, Misses wants something she can learn to drive in so that limits my options, could always keep it and strip it it to the most random track car ever

Managed to replace my fuel pump with a walbro... half way through changing the up-pipe to a decat one. Biggest difficulty was finding all of the stupid bolts holding on the turbo heat shield! The downpipe bolts were a lot easier in comparison

After another day spent trying to get the up-pipe changed... partial success!! It's fitted, unfortunately the up-pipe between the turbo leaks a little. Not surprising since the studs refused to stay in place and would constantly move when trying to tighten. Anyone know how to properly secure them so I can tighten a nut onto them properly?

Double nut them put a deep socket on and tighten that should do the trick 😊 Good luck

I'll need to psyche myself up again to tackle it... took me and a friend pretty much the entire weekend to do it! Most ambitious DIY job i've done on my Subaru so learned a lot, just a pain in the bum will need to do it again!

Rusty exhausts are the worst part of any car would hate to change mine it's probably been there 20years (lots of cutting bolts off)

i know eBay has new studs if you need them. I've spent many a late night doing a five minute job 😅
