  1. I'd considered a t36 but turbo technics had had a few issues with the oil feeds on the subaru set ups . Last I knew they were working on ironing out the creases before they sell any more so give it a google if your buying a second hand unit and make a informed choice Rcm do a decent in tank pump as well
  2. It depends on your target hp but if your current injectors are blue I think they're 480cc good for 320 hp . If they're pink 550 cc I think they're good for 370 hp and the limit for the newage 5 speed is about 380/400 hp The tdo4 will be on its limits at your current level of tune
  3. Yeah The weather forecasts are about as honest and reliable as vw emissions tests [emoji39] Hence why we're leaving it till Friday before we commit but I'll let you all know as early as possible what we're doing
  4. With a bigger turbo and injectors it should see some good power too . Is it a wrx or sti ?
  5. Always happy to help someone else spend their money [emoji5] It's only when I spend mine that the Mrs moans at me [emoji23] Any idea what the main mods are and what power she's running atm ?
  6. Thinking about it stants is heading down on Saturday from your neck of the woods ,dunno what time him and nick are leaving though but if it suits you all, you could "convoy" down with em [emoji6]
  7. Yeah fingers crossed for good weather, i've got stants ' s number so will catch up with the s.o.c and uk legacy boys .as some are camping over Saturday night and going the Sunday as well . That way I get to meet a few members even though there's no stands on the Saturday[emoji6]
  8. Hi n welcome to s.o.c ,nice looking scoob [emoji106] Have you done much to it since you got it ,if not sombodies spent some time n money on her [emoji6]
  9. It's £8 pre booked or £10 on the gate for entry and then £25 for unlimited runs More info here bud http://www.japshowfinale.co.uk/tickets.php we're going to pay on the gate Saturday morning as if the weather's bad they'll close the 1/4 for safety reasons. I would've gone on the Sunday and been on the club stand again but you get a better chance of getting a few more 1/4 runs in on the Saturday (apparently ) I've only ever done the 1/4 twice and that was at japshow 1 this year , i was rubbish on both runs so fancied another go lol
  10. Didn't even look at the link tbh £185 is a fair bit of cash but I spose they're is a fair few separate stickers in the kit . Also depends if you wanted the full kit for the oe look , I personally don't like graphics but seeing as the 555 had them from the factory I quite like em Saying that I nearly bought this for mine a while back And considered this when I had the 5zigen system fitted cos that sounded loud n dirty lol
  11. Never met Tim but I know quite a few people who use him on a regular basis ,so I've put a few people in touch with him and they've always gave good feedback. If it's in your budget, see if Tim will go with you and there's no harm in having a look
  12. Glad you're enjoying the scoob fella Here's the link to the place that my bud bought his 555 graphic kit from http://lm.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fsubarubits.co.uk%2F&h=SAQHbNhdn&enc=AZNns88h25zBVtF8EhL2d1GszG7_GQCEm9AT000FJ2D2fPEy6ZMsXCiPHu_frc8rvvw&s=1
  13. Good stuff ,more the merrier [emoji106] We probably won't make a definite decision until the Friday before (last min weather forecast ) but once we do I'll chuck the answer on this thread
  14. It's taken 3 yrs, £5k ,3 scoobs ,2 engines and 1.5 gearboxes so far lol Dunno what I'll do if I ever finish it ....... Probably build another engine for when I blow this one up [emoji16] [emoji12]
  15. Well if I get the turbo ,wheel and fuel set up I think it will be new polished ally header tank and a z32 maf conversion then that's me done under the bonnet . Well unless I give in to my brv and fit some nos
  16. I had planned to get parallel lines and a fpr fitted at some point mainly just to tidy things up tbh as I don't really need them for my 400bhp target . I've already deleted the purge valve ,charcoal canister and oil breather pipework to simplify things under the inlet manifold, so only have the oe series fuel line under the inlet manifold atm and no vacuum pipes
  17. Normally I only bother cleaning things when I'm trying not to spend money but need somthing "scooby" to do to keep hands busy and out of my pocket [emoji5] Saying that I should have a garret gt28 ,new momo steering wheel and possibly braided fuel lines arriving soon [emoji39]
  18. When my brv owned the this one it was running tein coilovers and it's belly was on the ground . The wide rotas occasionally rubbed the front liners so he removed em . The wind noise was terrible and I found loads of crud wedged behind the wings when I was prepping the shell last year (before fitting my mechanicals) Hence why I removed the wings ,cleaned everything up ,waxoiled and fitted the liners from the old UK shell
  19. Only time a question is stupid Imo is if you don't ask one and you never know the answer
  20. Classics don't have arch liners on the rears but ive got them in the front bud
  21. This game looks sweet [emoji41] Hope they're still gonna release this on the ps4, as although I'm quite enjoying metal gear solid I'd sooner be hossing about in a scoob than riding a horse lol
  22. I don't think Haynes do a impreza manual but there's a link on the first page of my build thread that has free pdf downloads
  23. Strange I had to pull the UK'S splash guards off, well the pretty much fell off tbh (rusty as fook) And grind the v1 jdm ones off as the newage rear discs are bigger in diameter so foul on both types of splash guards
  24. Your right stants it was a major job with inner and outer rear 1/ 4's cut off and new ones imported from Japan [emoji5] I haven't had any body work done for ages so I could well be far off on price but I assumed that it would need work on the inner arches too
  25. The chairman of my local forum had his uk turbo arches done ,both rear 1/4's, bonnet and front n rear bumpers painted and it cost him £3k [emoji33] You could probably get just the 1/4's done for about half that but he gets everything done at rcm . But it still scared me off enough to do a clean jdm reshell instead [emoji6]
