I didn't think men could multi task , well I did today .... Cos my New centre cap's and wheel nuts turned up and I upset the mrs at the same time [emoji39] "After all you spent on wheels and tyres this week you then went and bought more stuff bla bla de bla bla......" Lol -
Sorry dog autocorrect changed her name a bit , she's called stevie after the geko on king Julian's crown in the Madagascar film (my 2 girls named her) I'm a bit outnumbered by female's in my household Mrs 2 daughters Stevie (bearded lady dragon) Elizabeth (english bulldog )even tried to paint her nails by kicking my freshly painted header tank last week I have got one other male here "thumper" the lop eared rabbit that lives in my shed guarding all the scooby spares

They fitted fine in my brvs scoob bud they're subaru ones (not cheap copies) so they're glass (not plastic) and have the electric motors for headlight adjustment . I'll pm my pay pal over now and confirm once payments received a bit later (gonna watch a film now) Worst case they'll be in the post Saturday morning once I find a bigger box [emoji6] -

One of the crystal headlights has a bit broken off one of the mountain points it doesn't affect the security of fitment (just thought I'd mention it ) worst case scenario I'd imagine that postage would be £8.80p for both if I have to put them into 2 boxes So a total of £79 (+pay pal ) Here's a pic of the slight damage to the one light -
Yeah will be driving the scoob to the uk breaks and family look after steve (bearded dragon) and liz (English bulldog) so they're no so bad . Just miss them on the 10 day main holiday abroad we have every year [emoji53]

Not exactly done anything to the scoob but I did drop the rotas off for refurb and hid the laptop from the mrs so she can't see my pay pal purchase receipts. Cos when she sees how much I've spent on the refurb , new centre caps ,wheel nuts ,2 new tyres and some caliper paint...... she's gonna go ape [emoji39] -

Me and the family have stayed in a static caravan a few times and throughly enjoyed it, although the mrs prefers a holiday abroad due to the optimum tanning conditions [emoji41] but I won't be fitting a tow bar to the v1sti and dragging one around during rush hour any time soon . I was mainly miffed at the blatant disregard for school kids in the 30 limits, lack of consideration for other road users (tailgating me once I'd over took) and the fact that he obviously thought I was in the wrong for safely overtaking on a straight bit of road .
-
Caravanners why the fook you'd want to drag a tin box slowly around the cuntryside and call it a holiday I will never know, let alone do it during rush hour If that's your thing fair enough but why do 40mph in a 20mph limit past a vilage school then continue to do 40mph in a national speed limit [emoji15] only to swerve out when I safely over take giving me hand gestures as I passed (bellend) then try to push me faster through the next village's 30mph limit . He's so lucky I wasn't in my work van as I'd probably hit the brakes hard in the 30 limit just to make him brake hard and smash all his cutlery to bits in his caravan
-
I agree [emoji106] Cos that means silver wins As it's a slightly "lighter" version of grey
-
Na he's only put blue on it to slow it down enough so the cameras can pic up a clear image of his logo on the side [emoji5]

Sorry i can't help with the defi as I've never owned one ,i think 100 is fairly hot at this time of year (my oil temp doesn't quite reach 100) I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with your running temps by the way if no one on here knows how to adjust the audible warning level or better still what parameters to correctly set it at, maybe give the defi model number a google and see if you can download a manual . The defi range is a good bit of kit[emoji41] I'd make sure it was set up correctly (rather than turning audible warnings off) as is could save you the expense of a rebuild if something goes wrong while driving

I'm more shocked that stants had a mx5 for 3 yrs than matts plate not being legal [emoji5]
-
We all seem to like quite a variety of different marques of motors and accept that we all have different tastes on here but could we.... um ....refrain from the volvo pics
-
Hi n welcome Sorry to hear about the knackered crank but hey good excuses for a upgraded rebuild don't come "knocking" too often

I'm not to keen on hermes or yodel and tbh I'd be a bit worried about sending glass objects with them . If i get home early enough i can get a more accurate price for mainland UK and maybe send it second class to get it a bit cheaper -
I'm a bit unfamiliar with the legacy set up but the factory recirculation valve is normally located on the passenger's side of the tmic and aftermarket blow off valves are normally fitted just before the throttle body . The area in the pic is very close to the turbo and there's only a few places that have oil running through them (on a single turbo set up) so maybe have a look at these to see if you can find the issue . If the turbo seals have gone it normally pushes oil into the inlet tract and you'd get oil in the tmic /throttle body and blue smoke from the exhaust tail pipe . The oil feed to the turbo is connected via a banjo bolt which might be leaking onto the outside of the turbo . The oil drain pipe (from the underside of the turbo to the head) this pipe gets a bit brittle and somtimes weaps/splits . The oil drain itself can get blocked and cause back pressure on any of the above causing a leak in that area Hopefully it's a easy fix for you fella , keep us posted

I can post but I only get the time to use the local post office (so not the cheapest) about £8 extra mainland UK delivery so probably about £40 including pay pal fees (unless you gift it over) -

Haven't ever looked for a new thrust race tbh bud. I do know that the 6speed and 5 speed exedy pink box thrust races are definitely the same . As the 6 speed clutch that came with my box had the thrust race missing so I used the 5 speed one (hence why it's missing) I was just gonna keep the 5 speed clutch , fly and starter just in case I broke the 6 speed clutch [emoji4] -

Been fettling a few bits for under the bonnet as it only takes time, doesn't eat into the "moding pot " and keeps my idle hands busy [emoji6] polished up a spare ally power steering bracket And prepping a v3 header tank (not quite finished yet ) Scoobs now sitting on my temporary rims as the rotas are off to the powder coaters not 100% sure why the pics are on the previous post lol I'll have to edit it later on the p.c
