LOSING POWER on NA with HKS Mushroom Install!!!
Didn't know the pipes were crank case breathers as I've only seen a boxer na bay once (in the flesh) So yep don't completely block them off as the need to breathe, but don't let them suck in debris or moisture either . If your still gonna run the induction kit and can't fit the breather /pcv system back to oe , get a vta catch can plumbed in asap

No idea what hubs they'd use on wrc cars but the newage sti r180 hubs ,bearings and driveshafts are the strongest 1's fitted to road scoobies

LOSING POWER on NA with HKS Mushroom Install!!!
Tbh I don't know much about the na boxer set up but generally na engines rely on back pressure. So big bore zorsts and induction kits can make you loose torque and power . As i haven't got a scooby do what those pipes are for ,I'd Probably start by bunging the leccy taped pipes with a suitable sized bolt and jubilee clip . Hopefully this will either cure the lack of power or rule the pipes out as the issue .

Dump Valves
I run a old skool Bailey's with a uprated piston spring on my classic with a fmic. I assume that you've got your current d.v fitted to the fmic pipework ? If so any of the "generic" fmic d.v will work even if its a different size . If you check the Dia of your fmic pipework dump valve "take off" . Then buy a silicone reducer, to suit that Dia and the new dump valve entrance Dia . Some where like a.s.h (auto silicone hoses) will probably have them on the shelf .[emoji6]

V2 impreza

V2 ecu
Sure I spotted a alcatek for a v1 /v2 on 1 of the many scooby face book for sale pages over the weekend. Can't remember which 1 , so not much help tbh lol . but it might be worth chucking a "wanted post " on a couple of them , to see if 1 turns up . Bear in mind each of the ecus you've mentioned will require different software and leads to 're map . So check with your mapper to see what they've got ,just in case they don't deal with the 1 you choose .

Fuel lean @4500 rpm on boost
Id imagine The mapper should have seen excessive knock while mapping and fuel being added via knock correction if the knock sensor is the issue

noob with 96 wrx ecu question
You can buy esl daughter boards direct from andy stevens @ enduring solutions limited . I know you didn't want a generic chip debate but my advice would be to use esl or a stand alone apexi then bespoke map . Due to the decat and fmic being already fitted , As the aggressive timing used by "chips" wouldn't allow for the changes if airflow caused by the mods and there's no way to adjust to compensate for the mods .

Boot/trunk Divider
I've got a "happy shopper " boot tidy which seemed to be ideal ..... Until I did the 1/4 mile at japshow and after 13 seconds of fun, i spent a good 15 mins putting all the bits back in my 150 pcs socket set 🤣

Braided lines
Braided lines are worth the money imo. As they firm up the peddle nicely ,as sandles and aucky said🖒

Gearbox
Have you checked rear dif and gearbox oil levels and condition ?

Subaru sti type ra for sale
If its a non rusty ,genuine sti ra and the dccd 6 speed is in good order ,It's probably worth around that price . But a bit more info on why it's spares or repairs would help with the sale

Fuel lean @4500 rpm on boost
Check the vacuum lines for splits especially from the purge solenoid and charcoal canister.

Mapping problems
You do have to pay a licence fee to use ecutek but it is probably the most tried n tested way of remapping bug's and blobeyes oe ecus . So although i use a mapper thats good with all marques of cars (not just scoobies ) he knows and owns what software is needed to map each type of ecu's . Maybe try getting a quote off a mapper who already has experience with ecutek and scoobs .

Fuel lean @4500 rpm on boost
Air intake or inlet manifold leak could draw in extra "unmetered air " too

Mapping problems
Does your local mapper map a lot of scoobies ? I think most mappers use ecutek software to map the oe subaru ecu ,what software is your mapper trying to use and has the car been mapped already (if so by who) ?
