  1. Gambit replied to RobJE's topic in General Subaru Chat
I still watch stuff on YouTube from him and Burns well even Solberg
  2. Nice shame about the rain Well taken the Hella Supertones off to respray. Starting to like them more now after seeing someone on Fakebook subaru page slagging them off and people that have them on. So here to him and me making them bright red so they stand out to annoy you my friend
  3. This is mainly aimed at the Impreza but I guess is relevant to most Turbo Subarus
  4. I bought something from Poland it turned up and was oem so I'd have ago you're always covered through paypal as said above :)
  5. Should have some thin metal strips that sit behind the pads. Get some grease on them make sure its brake grease thats ok to use on rubbers. I used to use copper grease until I was once told the copper eats away at the rubber seals around the pistons. But some grease around then will help. But I normally put a bit on the back of the pad and on the thin metal part always gets rid of the sequel :)
  6. Japshow for me is my favourite one. Why because you get to see the cars on the pod without waiting for them to go past and all the way around a track again. Always seeing members is great and good laugh every year we've been. Bit off topic though shame about the stalls not making as many shows. All the seats stalls and exhaust stalls seem to have dropped out :(
  7. Take a look here mate they do some good stuff http://www.haywardandscott.com/subaru/impreza-classic.html
  8. Haha thought it would have surprised you left it for the year though. But take it no damage was done
  9. I'd still have the codes read we have a guide on here on how to read them yourself. CLICK HERE I'd almost put money on 02 sensor or a sensor I wonder if the ECU bulbs been removed to painted over. Could be wrong but that would be my first guess or the cats on it's way out. Only other thing you could do is see if anyone local will tell you about a friendly mot tester that doesn't mind passing decated car's
  10. Din't it over fuel or run a bit lumpy after a decat ?
  11. As Matt said. Be fine mate I've stuck STI top mount on mine before a remap just kept the engine a bit cooler nothing more
  12. Nice job I have no experience with Romraider
  13. I do a lot of work for someone who's just come back to the UK after working in Doha for just over a year. Some Insurance companies wouldn't touch her, even though she had lived here for 9 year previous and this is on a 1.6 clio. that she bought quick as she needed a car for 500 quid lol. she ended up with Swift cover. the gocompare sites I hate and won't use them. I'd try Adrian Flux we have club discount with them and Keith Michaels has been good from feedback with some or even Greenlight insurance they all specialise in performance car's. Again because you've just moved here might be the biggest hurdle with getting insured but worth a try mate.
  14. Sorry can't advise not gone front mount on my cars not that I don't like it but don't want to cut into the prodrive front bumper
  15. Well my day was sent getting the prodrive lights working and to re do the mudflaps all done now sorry no pictures yet.
  16. Looking good mate have to let us know how it sounds.
  17. I know.. I discovered there is nothing I won't masturbate over too.
  18. Haha does look pretty strange. Well I've been buying stuff again. Got these after a massive bidding war with someone on fleebay Prodrive sideskirts. Sorry if it's anyone on here but my needs are much greater than your's
  19. Yeah it helps reduce the soot in the emissions stuff like that. I think it's so you don't go doing this sort of stuff ;)
  20. I'd say Release bearing too.
