  1. Nice my calipers came today brakes came a few days ago. Just need hub and bearing now :D
  2. I'm not sure myself am afraid I believe it will. The years from 2003 to 2008 was compatible I think, but hopefully one of the Forester members will know better :)
  3. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Glad to hear you have kept with the Subaru family :) and also that the family has come of help to you already :) I'm surprised we don't see more Forester and Outback on here. I've not seen any UK forums for that model only American :(
  4. :( I will try keep an eye out on the breakers.
  5. Nice is that what colour you have gone for black ?
  6. Spot on job mate looks great :D
  7. You thought about looking at getting them Hydro dipped instead of sprayed ?
  8. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C I'd look at the STI spoilers if you like them some alloy's maybe lower it a bit, and like you said exhaust and tint the windows :)
  9. STI spoiler and alloys would be the fire things I would change :D And then start on the engine the rest of the car looks spot on. I like the Hella Horns on view too so I'd opt to do that at some point as well :D
  10. Sounds like a good list of stuff to do to em mate :) Just want to ask was you going to try get to the local meeting in July ? Just so I have an idea :)
  11. I can't remember how many bulbs lol :D But it was harder than I thought it was going to be it's not just a matter of swapping bulbs :( Will try get a write up done with a how to for anyone wanting to do it :D
  12. Could always buy them and get them dipped. But cost goes up :(
  13. Spent more money and got my dials red. Well I did it a couple of days ago if I'm being honest getting them red :) But for the ones with good eyes might notice for some reason My battery light doesn't illuminate anymore and I can't see why :(
  14. How the hell are they that much £25 something for a front one of Import parts thats for the Imp but can't see why it would be much more. From the pictures I like the ones off ebay more look a bit like the Rotas :)
  15. Fleebay should have some on mate if not I can get some breakers numbers for you to try :)
  16. You're welcome :)
  17. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Well I think the question can excuse me you said clever people ;) But I'm not sure :( sorry
  18. It happens we all take the risk now and again. And being dumb is a part of growing up I'm still an idiot now :D My pet hate is the speed cameras when they bust people doing 6 or 7 MPH over the limit and then bill you for the privilege of points.
  19. I'd say Dan was the best person to speak with least you are dealing with one person and not a hand full :) And yeah the points will always be a killer. Again no points for me either. But I do find the points think annoying depending on why they was given. Just another thing to squeeze a few more pounds out of people :)
  20. Exactly mate :D I'm a strong believer you never know truly how good a insurer is until you need to claim. Touch wood I haven't had too, I've been with mine for 9 years now and only ever had one problem with them which was pretty quickly sorted out. Insurance does my head in pi$$ me off how expensive and always seems to be worse every year and its the ones that don't have crashes that seem to get penalised. And yet I drive past brokers in the town and all have top of the range Audis, Mercedes , BMW's parked on the front. Hell I know one that the receptionist has a company car that drives around in a Bentley and he has a Ferrari. :o start to wonder where the premiums go :P
  21. You're welcome :) If you want anything else just ask :)
  22. Funny enough I'm going down this road as we speak but I'm needing a hub with it. on the front N/s :( I've got one but my missus keeps trying to find it cheaper which is annoying now held me up for 2 days already with it soon have everything here but the !Removed! hub. She likes to beat me with prices She does find some good deals though sometimes. But does look from 93 to 98 the Legacy didn't change the bearing or hubs but don't hold me to this. As I have found it a bit of a mine field. when I've been looking at hubs some people have said fit's other models but when I look there the wrong size :( I'd just try find one that fit's. Have you given Import parts a ring ? give them the reg number be able to tell you for sure
  23. I will refer back to it being easier to find bad complaints to good feedback. Flux have been doing insurance for the club scene as far back as I can remember. And from being in other clubs it was always mixed reviews main complaint was the renewal quotes most of the time, but like us we have Dan they all have someone to help on the forums with complaints and to look at members issues to try fix it. But for me like 90% of other insurance companies have all mixed reviews the biggest one I have ever had a problem with was 1st Central worst insurance ever had it one year I wanted out with in the 1st 3 weeks. But couldn't because I had gone past the 14 days cool off. :(
  24. I'd have to say breakers mate.
