  2. just seen this, sorry I have been sorting new cars and things out after my problems with my diff yes mine is a uk I think I hav a port under steering wheel but I don't hav the car here will look next time I go and sort car out.
  3. went to a network q rally in the 90's and parked car on the road side in a forest and when I came back the car was in a river LOL think about 20 of us ended with wet feet. worth it to warch colin and rich go though... :D
  4. you will need to do a code test there are hundreds of things that could show. just looked it up and it goes from brakes to exhaust system sensor. sensors are a pain in the !Removed!. good luck.

  6. remove battery leads of 15min but if problem is still there it will trigger it again.
  7. nope and some much for being able to tell I had it on for 2 min drive and felt the thing go at less that 30 mph. but nothing before it went.
  8. The ratio was wrong on the rear diff. so the front diff has gone now. will drive it till it goes completely and will be buying a cheap run around till I build fund up then may buy new forester or gear box and diff for this one. :( :(.

  10. I was going to say the hubs were a good price I paid £80 just for bearing then had to pay £60 for the press to get the thing out and went through a hub just getting the bearing out. one stud shot through the abs ring that's how I know hubs are easier to change.

  12. hav you checked your earths and battery wires hav not worked loose. then I agree with gambit maf then coil.
  13. the only other thing you could do to make life easy is run a live from battery and put a fuse on the wire like a amp one run through bulkhead into foot well. then just use the ground wire from light.
  14. hi glad you got the kit sorted. this is the forum I hav found helpful but they seem to be in OZ or America http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/. if I was you I would also source so ht lead 8mm one they will help gain a bit of power and some better spark plugs.

    went to start doing car today and what happens is rain's. and not any old rain but the stuff you need a snorkel for. we have had weeks of sunshine and then the day I start my holiday it decides to put down the rain it has stored up for the weeks it's not rained, I bet when I finally get sorted they will put a hose pipe ban on and I won't be able to wash the car.
