  1. yeah, not the easiest set of instructions to read, seem to read in stereo. Have you had the pleasure of pairing a mobile phone yet, such a pleasure
  2. sorry, mostly use tapatalk and all posts in this section aren't showing up.
  3. looking good
  4. If they've paid for insurance, even if they are in breach of that insurance, I believe the insurers are obliged to payout to the third party but not any fully comprehensive aspects. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. When I had my XV I had to declare the front stone chip guard and rear step guard as modifications, they didn't affect the cost as they're classed as non performance decorative modifications. But the Opel manta I built with a bigger engine, gearbox, brakes, body kit and loads of other bits actually worked out cheaper to insure than when it was standard Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Well had another phone call with my dealer, they think that I got lucky and under charged for my wife's service last time and that it should have been £400, it also turns out that the dealers I went to charge. . . Wait for it. . . £90 +vat per hour. I spoke to a dealer more local and they only charge £55 inc Vat which means the service would be over £100 less. Looks like I'm changing my dealer to the local one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I only did 48mpg on the way home from my service because i kept putting my Toe down [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I expect about £300 for a main dealer service. It's more the discrepancy I have issue with Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Took my car for a service £403 haven't paid it yet as I'm trying to get them to explain why my wife's identical car and service only cost me £230? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. We've had flooding down here, took me an age to get my car to the dealers for its service, no snow though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Judging by the damage it should be easy to find them, difficulty is proving they did it. Unless they have the same silver paint on their car that's on yours it's going to be a challenge. I hate people like that who damage property and then sod off Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. The transcend 200pro is very good, we've got two. Just had a copper look at some footage and he reckoned it was easily witness quality. Only slight niggle with it is the lack of an internal battery so only runs in the car. But at £70 it's a bargain, I too have tried several different ones, records 4hr loops at HD on a 32gb and microSD and will save a 40sec segment of it detects a shock, 10 seconds before and 30seconds after impact. Sound recording isn't that good on any of these cameras unless you get a dedicated mic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Wife driving to work yesterday watch a guy on a motorbike racing across a round about apexing it and overtaking rules, he however broke the cardinal rule, don't drive over road gullies when you've laid the bike right over. He still managed to overtake the car but on his !Removed! rather than his bike. Then he got up and road off without speaking to anyone. Police involved and they're after my wife's dashcam video. It's clear from the vid he put his front wheel on the gully just as he was switching the bike from leaning left to right and the front wheel just slid out. The fact he cleared off says he had something to hide, trouble his he left a shoe and his number plate behind. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I use the same, smells quite nice, but I use Autoglym interior freshener spray to make the car smell really fresh and nice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Microfibres cloth, blasphemy [emoji38] Lambs wool mitt is the proper way to go Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Our neighbours washed their Mazda 6 with one bucket, but that was the least of their worries, they let their 3 year old help and he kept dropping the sponge in the floor whilst washing the car aaaaaaarrrrggghh! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Dip sponge in soapy bucket, wash car, then rinse of crap off the sponge in bucket of clean water before dipping back in soapy bucket. Idea is all the crap off the car goes in the bucket of water and not into your soapy bucket. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. About 19k pa, that's why I need a diesel, else if have a WRX. I do less now than I used to, I had a civic I did 94,000 in 18 months! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  22. Unless you drive from the back seat you're ok, it needs to be in the drivers line of sight to be illegalSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Technically you can't have your satnav displaying, apparently it's illegal to have any display screen which is placed for the driver. I think they just ignore satnavs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. It's actually illegal to have the screen displaying as you drive. So I've been told by a copper anyway Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Hi, keep an eye out for me, I drive and throughout Cheshire quite a bit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
