  1. Pretty sure it'll look exactly the same as the one you originally bought, just have a few hidden and interim changes most likely Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I do I live near the chase, took the dog up there earlier today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I looked at it when I got mine but for £350 even if you buy it with a new car it was a high cost for the extra look so I didn't bother. to be honest I've never felt any regret as it doesn't change the look significantly, id probably have the window deflectors first. though you can now get an STi kit in Malaysia which has a nice black STi branded spoiler, you can see it in another thread in this section about possible future XV
  4. Jus as well if you're taking them to Kwikfit [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Well I've got a white XV and it's still invisible it seems BRZ, mid life crisis, quite fancy one myself [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Just to warn you the Orange ones nose dive in value because they're hard to sell Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. The lad next to me was selling his Focus ST, as we pulled up the lad buying it said, and I quote; "I'm ok with powerful cars, I used to have a subaru on a methane mix" What's everyone's thoughts, genuine fuel option (a gas that is only in liquid at low temps or under pressure) or was he talking methane? 8. Sounds like it's not even a facelift. When I had mine they'd changed the dash displays slightly to show current gear, altered the dash knobs to chrome ones and used nickel costed pistons and bits like that, external bodywork was exactly the same so really, it wasn't a face lift at all, just s slight upgrade. Hopefully they've improved the SATNAV as the one installed on the premium was generally rubbish and really hard to use. Unless you want leather seats (which I didn't) it was the only reason really to have the premium on the 2014 model. Looks like they've added some extras to your one though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Mine was a facelift and it looked exactly the same on the outside [emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. The videos on YouTube aren't as clear as they are on a PC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I doubt the one in the spy picks will be the 2015, as it's obviously still in testing and they wouldn't be taking orders yet Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Well I've done nothing to mine because I've got man flu. Although I really need to clean it as it's covered in green sheep sh&t from a field the other day [emoji30] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. They did that to me, I ordered mine in December 2013 but they said they weren't making any more so I had to have the 2014. Have they said if it will look any different? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I must have had a duff one, put me off though. Happy with the transcend, very good picture. Transcend comes with a semi-hard wire list and you can buy a sucker mount for a fiver Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. You can download the footage straight to your phone and the upload direct to youtube or what ever from your phone. Not tried this but mainly use for syncing and firmware updatedSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I had one of those and it was rubbish, not sure if I had a duff one but couldn't even read number plates on it. That's why I had the transcend in the end Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Only really use wifi for updating and easily setting the tone with a phone. You can update firmware direct from you're mobile which is much easier than doing it on a card. Setting the tune is easier too, just connect and it takes the time from your phone rather than typing numbers in. Only real problem with it is the fact that it only keeps the clock running for 4-5 days then it needs resetting Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Not just now but I could sort some for tomorrow evening. I'll take a few and post them up. The transcend one is only an in car cam as it has no battery, but that suits me needs, we've got one in each car Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. On the XV, my dash cam is up top mounted by rear view mirror, ran the cables under roof lining, down behind door pillar trim and behind the glove box into the centre console where the plug was, actuslly came out pretty neat. I'm using a transcend DrivePro 200. About £70 from Amazon. Full HD and witness quality video playback. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. That'll teach you to follow the white rabbit, look where you've ended up? Welcome to group Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Not sure you can turn it off, you can reset it if you have new tyres fitted. its in the menus somewhere, but don't think there's an off option. might be a fuse you can pull, best bet would be to speak to the dealers you can try this method if you're feeling adventurous which is for the WRX hatch, but something similar would work on the XV dash I imagine https://youtu.be/tFUs25G2q2k
  22. Not sure about the law but certainly a good idea, one thing that is also very sensible which a lot of people don't do is fasten the rear seat belts when not in use. the seat belts are much stringer than the seat hinges and heavy thing in the boot hitting the seat backs at force can cause folding seats to fold, fastening the seat belts ensures that the seats can't fold and forces any loose items to the base of the seat. I would imagine its ok not to have it fixed, certainly I had a car once that just had it sat in a well and wasn't fixed, but don't quote me on legality. as far as I am aware the only physical things that police can check internal of the car are that the battery is secured and that the washers are full, not seen anything about secure spare wheel. If you're going to drive about with a loose spare wheel then I'd certainly fasten the rear seat belts (the outer ones) so that each seat back is secured in its upright position.
  23. I had a new tyre off the council after hitting a pothole in a civic and pinching the tyre wall, they coughed up the £120. Never worked out why a diesel civic has Z rated tyres on a civic Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. a little late because tapatalk doesn't work any more and never shows me any posts. anyway here is my snow event. https://youtu.be/EPkJr23rlrc the all season tyres were really good to be fair, you won't necessarily get any significant improvement on braking even with snow tyres
  25. the current wheels are a bit marmite, but I think they look ok on the XV, there was talk of an XV STi, those wheels on that prototype look a bit rubbish This was a styling and suspension package which would be available for both diesel and petrol and is already available in malaysia, maybe its coming here later in the year which is what was seen? https://youtu.be/DG06IR6Qnzk more likely to be just a facelift though :(
