  1. It was another good turn out tonight, over 20 cars, managed to get pics of most " /> " /> " /> " /> a
  2. gutted Nick, hope it just needs a good charge another great meet, over 20 cars again, I'll get some pic's up later
  3. nice one mate, get some pics up when it arrives
  4. There were some main roads closed due to accidents and the roads were solid. I was on a one way street and the right hand side is an oncoming cycle lane with intermittent bollards. I had moved about 20M in 30 mins, then a car came driving down the cycle lane past everybody, forced his way back into the line of traffic to go around the next bollard and then pulled back into the cycle lane and carried on driving past other vehicles.
  5. anybody else coming?
  6. that KA was a knob, he must have been doing 45mph + in a 30
  7. didn't know you could power a pneumatic drill from a cigarette lighter
  8. I thought you might have worn that out by now
  9. hi mate welcome to the club
  10. lucky sod when you buy a car, you are legally entitled to all it's contents that are left by the previous owner. I'd spend it on beer, my family and house, maybe a new car
  11. yep, you should always use 99 ron fuel, either v-power nitro or tesco momentum. you wouldn't buy a thoroughbred race horse and then just feed it on tesco value horse food would you ;) the clinic are a good bunch of lads, how many big tuners would let you walk around their workshops?
  12. you can't beat a curvy model that gives a good ride and your car sound good too
  13. yep, that's fine. mine sits at 1,650rpm on start up. it's the automatic choke to help the engine warm up on a cold start, the rev's go down as the engine warms up years ago there was a thing called a 'manual choke' it was a stick that you pulled out when you started the car (so I have been told, I'm too young to remember that though :D )
  14. the forge is a good choice, you can also get a spring kit with different spring pressures and some washers to adjust the VTA rate/noise
  15. lol, has it still got the integrated butt plug on the drivers seat? if so I'll pass......
  16. it's only the wife in the passenger seat, she's got good life insurance........
  17. starting with the handling is very sensible, it will allow you to carry more speed through corners safely, and will give you big smiles through the twisties ;)
  18. ash making a brew? I'm surprised he can even find the kettle
  19. it doesn't work like that the closing speed would be 220 mph (150 + 70) (not 230 lol). if both vehicles weigh the same, the kinetic energy within the faster car will make the slower car [on impact] decelerate and start traveling backwards. if 2 vehicles weighing the same hit head on at 70 mph each, the closing speed will be 140 mph, but on impact they will both decelerate at the same rate, it would be like hitting a wall at 70. but, if a car was traveling at 50 mph and hit a 40 tonne lorry coming the other way at 50 mph, it would be a closing speed of 100mph, and it would be like the car hitting a wall at nearly 100 mph, as the lorry would stop the car and shove it backwards instantly lol, it's surprising how much I ramble on when I'm drunk.......
  20. mine is a wrx too. 110k on the clock. I've got a VF35 turbo, pink injectors (550), full 3" decat, big top mount and a remap. running 330 bhp
  21. like you said, it doesn't make any difference to power, just a smoother change I miss the noise, but prefer the smoother change I would like to try a HKS one, but genuine ones are expensive
