  1. no probs you might be ok with a std centre section and just with a turbo back box, it will sound better but you won't get the Subaru burble (the turbo has unequal length headers, n/a has equal length)
  2. a lad I know does detailing for a living, he charges £45 for 2 hours. he did my last car and the difference was amazing, I haven't got the patience to spend 2 hours leaning into an engine bay with a tooth brush
  3. lol, I didn't get their names it's supposed to be a good weekend weather wise, I'll take my gazebo up on sunday too it would take me more than a day to tidy my engine bay :(
  4. don't think so, the wagon exhaust is longer, I think the end of the tail pipe will be under the bumper, don't know about the position of the hangers either other thing, the n/a has a 2" exhaust, the turbo has 2.5", so it might need adapting to fit. also, you might lose torque due to reduced back pressure
  5. I've booked 10 places, so only a couple left now B) 1.BoozyDave 2.Leeroy 3.scoobyjohn 4.swifty1 5.mfNick 6.Mr Man 1 7.Mr Man 2 8. 9. 10.
  6. if you're not fussed about money, buy a turbo if you want to keep yours, get some unequal length headers and you will get the burble, cat back exhaust, green panel filter (you might gain a few bhp), then spend some money on brakes and suspension
  7. no, it's a 4 door not a 2 door his car looks ok, shame he's a prick. a classic uk car [turbo 2000] has 205bhp, but the import's are different, a wrx is 276bhp, an sti is more, if you want a 2 door, then it's a P1, type R, RA or if you're loaded a 22B
  8. It looks great [emoji106]
  9. it's only an hour to swap, so just fit the standard one before the test I didn't know about the handbrake thing though
  10. welcome to the club I'd love the new sti, it looks awesome, get some pic's up when you get it
  11. I'd recommend vredestein ultrac sessantas too. I had falkens on a previous car and they were great, but never had them on a scooby
  12. 2 more said they were coming last night at the Sheffield meet, they are going to meet us at ferrybridge at 8am come on people, it's for a good cause and there's only a couple of spaces left
  13. Didn't get one, need to get a suction mount.
  14. Went to the meet last night and on my way home I caught up with a corsa and fiesta in convoy, when the back car saw me behind he started to race his mate in traffic. I haven't seen driving as bad as that in years. 3 times they nearly hit cars coming the other way head on!!! I've downloaded a dash cam, but I haven't got a suction mount yet, shame
  15. 'not a huge turnout' how many people do you expect to turn up to a Subaru meet on a Monday night?
  16. another decent turnout, probably about 15-20 cars I'll post the pic's tomorrow night Ash, where were the photographer? or burger van? did you get your car swapped?
  17. I agree, don't bother with it. they even tested it on fifth gear and said it made no difference. when the tyre is put on the rim, what is inside it? air. do they remove all that air and fill it only with nitrogen? or just leave all that air in and pump up to pressure with a bit of nitrogen
  18. Welcome to the club Bargain for 400
  19. Nice car It's the expensive tax bracket too isn't it? Good luck getting 8500 for it.....
  20. why not come along, it's only £5 if you show your car or £10 for anyone not showing their car
  21. I was running vredestein ultrac sessantas on my last blob, awesome tyres goodyear eagles asymetrics always get great reviews too I've had toyo proxes, hated them, ok grip when it was hot, but any sign of moisture on the road and it was sliding all over
