As many of you are already aware i'm getting a donor car but it's blue and my car is green there are no local subaru dealers as such i went to halfords to ask about getting paint mixed up as i have a spray gun for the compressor and they said i'd need the manufacturers paint code not the one on the VIN plate (passengers strut top in engine bay) the code on the plate is 64c so not too sure if anyone knows what i need or if helfrauds is chatting !Removed!
  2. i personally like the cones but have heard that they can cause problems with your MAF sensor (breaks them quicker etc)
  3. hi mate welcome to the site ;)
  4. lol i play that alot but daren't push it too far as the mrs is useless at helping me get the car to somewhere safe when i do inevitably break down (she doesn't even know which way to turn the wheel etc)
  5. my light also doesn't come on and i'm below the "E" an awful lot lol
  6. i said more or less the same too but now i've bought my second scooby and am looking at buying a turbo engine then the fun really begins
  7. no problem thought i'd just mention it ;)
  8. i don't use the laptop for !Removed! the mrs would kill me if it died lol
  9. my scooby's the same with not knowing what year it is it's on R-reg but logbook says 97 but it was made december 97 so can understand why the difference
  10. can't say i have but have read somewhere that toothpaste works well for cleaning headlight lenses but never tried it myself so can't really verify
  11. i had 5 tabs open and none of them even went anywhere near where i needed/wanted to be lol
  12. lol you beat me to it gambit i went to find the link then got side tracked by other threads to read lol
  13. definitely agree with the crappy weather i hope it's nice weather for when i get the donor car in the week as i'll be swapping over the rear diff, wheel's,bonnet and the suspension (donor car is lowered) but tbh if it's not nice weather then it'll be a trip to aldi to buy a "pop-up gazebo" just to keep the rain off https://www.aldi.co.uk/en/specialbuys/thursday-8th-may/
  14. not sure if the last one's still available or if it comes with actuator http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/6452-blob-rear-lights-x2-td04s-bugeye-rear-lights/
  15. i think it'll redirect you to the payment page not certain as not done application

  17. put me down as a maybe and donnington park is castle donnington yes? never been to these sorts of things best i did was meet a guy from my old club (rover coupé)at a pub for a drink n chat
  18. awesome pics shame i couldn't make it but i'm hoping to make some meets soon enough once i get the 2nd impreza i'll either be using it to fix the wagon or engine transplanting into it as it's already registered as a non turbo that way the rear diff will be sorted one way or the other
  19. hi mate welcome to the site ;) nice looking motor you've got there hope you can source/sort the problem
  20. hi mate welcome to the site ;)
  21. for card design i really like the first one but i also like the slogan "we like your car" from the second one
  22. as tlag said soak it in WD40 i left mine for about an hour then just brute strength get a spanner on one end and socket on the other otherwise it'll just keep spinning
  23. usual daily driving (school run etc) then bought my second impreza everything but the engine figured i could take the parts off it i need (wlloy wheels, rear diff, rear shafts and bonnet maybe some other bits ;)) then i'll be breaking the rest
  24. i'm with jay be sure to put it up in a build thread and plenty of pics will help:) and just think your photo's/thread may well help others further down the line ;)
