My 2017 WRX STI.
Very nice! I'll check them out if I ever feel the need to upgrade to a newer model!

Holy MPG Batman!!
Very nice! Update, needle is just below half a tank and have covered 203 miles. So at the moment, it's looking to be about the same before the remap which is pretty good, extra boost and better AFR has cancelled each other out mileage wise.

My UK300
I'm not a fan of roof scoops personally... but if you like it, go for it!

Forester 2.0 petrol any good?
My 04 impreza has isofix so i imagine foresters of the same age or newer will be the same

What have you done to your Subaru today ?
How difficult is it to do? Mine is still whining (and has been for a few months) but is not getting worse so there is no play... I just want it replaced as the sound annoys me!!

- Holy MPG Batman!!
Good stuff! I'm looking forward to seeing how i get on, it was down to half a tank and I had covered 180 miles... it was mapped on this tank as well and I've been using boost a lot since the novelty hasn't worn off yet :D- Holy MPG Batman!!
Right, filled it up with Momentum 99 (which my car seems to like now since I changed the spark plugs!) and about to commence a week of night shifts... which means sensible motorway driving and some short town driving. This is the first full fill up since getting the remap so will be interesting to see what difference it has made!- 2.0 impreza turbo idle
Yeh they can idle quite low when warm... I just had mine remapped last week and he raised the idle by a couple hundred RPM as apparently the oil pressure drops with such a low idle- Update on my car
Hopefully the end of this arduous journey is almost over! Fingers crossed for you mate!- What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Passed my MOT today with only a couple of advisories... A couple of hard brake lines are starting to show signs of corrosion and my front drop links dust covers have deteriorated, which is fine as I have two brand new ones sitting on my desk! Was a bit concerned since I've just installed a prodrive sports cat but just made sure the garage gave it a blast before testing :D- forge d.v
Yeh i think it's reasonable... Forge are a good make- forge d.v
If it's adjustable you can go 50/50... or whatever adjustment you need to get rid of the lag and keep some noise!- forge d.v
If you experience no bad side effects to the VTA there really is no point to change it, unless you want less noise obviously :D- Clutch judder
It will need time to bed in... give it a few hundred miles and see how it is- Anyone help me with this engine diagnostic report?
First error is the rear o2 sensor... expensive to get new but cheap 2nd hand... I have one in my garage that I bought but didn't need it, not sure if it works or not. 2nd error... first thing to try would be to change the spark plugs and see if the error code comes back.- Up grades
Depending on how much noise you want you have two options for the centre pipe: Non-resonated - Louder, has the potential to drone Resonated (albeit smaller than standard one) - a bit louder than standard but more civilised Dump valve - Only really if you want the noise!- you havin a larf?
Do they think it's as rare as a 22B????- What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Absolutely! If you're driving around normally feels no different... but when you put the foot down and tell the car to use all the boost... it pulls like a train!- What have you done to your Subaru today ?
HQ Garage in Dalgety Bay (Fife)... just down the road from me, mapper is a guy called Russ, he spends all his time in there mapping. Very popular as there is normally a 6 week wait for a slot... They put a message on facebook saying they had a cancellation for Friday afternoon and offered a 15% discount if someone could fill it! They charge a flat rate of £100 an hour for the dyno/mapping.- What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Yeh i'm happy, especially since i got 15% off so it was only £235 :D- What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Ah ok.. i've read wildly varying things of whp to flywheel hp... some say 15%... some say can be up to 22% loss... who knows! Either way, it is significantly faster :D- What have you done to your Subaru today ?
Final figure was 210whp so a little more?- Exhaust leak
Unfortunately their dyno doesn't give flywheel figures... only wheel. I estimate it to be in the 270 - 280 range since the TD04 is maxed out - Holy MPG Batman!!
