  1. That's quite steep for a single wheel, I'm having all 4 of my wheels completely overhauled and painted (2 day job) and i'm being charged £312 for the lot!
  2. HNNNNNNNG Engine looks amazing!!!
  3. Should be fine once it's bedded in :D
  4. I'm driving through to my brothers tomorrow so i'll fill up then... my wife hates when i let my fuel level go so low... the paranoia kicks in!!
  5. New record!! I expect as i soon as i start my car tomorrow my light will come on :D
  6. That's a shame, at least it wasn't the engine itself! Can pick up a decent 2nd hand turbo or refurbed unit for not a great deal of money!
  7. Yup, i washed my car last week, looked great for 2 days then was manky again... gonna wash it again next week when it's sitting on my driveway with no wheels as they will be away getting refurbbed!
  8. Black cars look great when they're clean :D
  9. Noise? Yes... it doesn't make it louder but it defines the burble a bit more. Emissions? Not sure, I read somewhere that the cats in the up pipe and cat pipe are only really necessary for passing emissions when it's cold as the cat in the downpipe is the main one. Can't confirm that as I have not had an MOT done since removing the 3rd cat
  10. The WRX blob has the 2 litre which is much stronger compared to the 2.5 in the early hatches from what i've heard...
  11. Nice looking Blob! Shame about the hatch...
  12. 38mpg is mighty impressive! If I can get to around 330-340 miles on a tank I i would be mightily happy, that's better than i managed out of my 1.6 207!!
  13. Millers 10W40 here, recommended by my garage who use the same in all their imprezas and evos! Not sure what filter they put on it, will find out next week when I'm lying under my car trying to reattach a plastic gaurd
  14. I currently run a pipercross filter, downpipe back exhaust (I've removed the 3rd cat) and bigger top mount... My car doesn't like momentum but thankfully got plenty of of Shell garages near me! My record so far 330 before filling up, will see if I can beat that! :D
  15. Welcome to the club! I have to admit, never seen one in Scotland!
  16. Good luck mate, hopefully nothing serious!
  17. They do look great when they are clean tho... I give mine a good coating of hard wax once every few months, love the look of water beading on the surface!
  18. That's a lot of oil to go through in such a short distance! I have a 54 plate Blob and i can go 6k miles and the oil will still be close to maximum!
  19. This could be a new record... still have around 30-40 miles of fuel left with motorway driving!!
  20. I would imagine so! Edit: Googled it and they do fit
  21. Toyota are exactly the same, my wifes Yaris was in for a service and MOT a month ago, said that it was due a recall for the passenger airbag, was told I would get phoned when the airbag was in stock so it could get done... still haven't heard, it's going back in on monday as the alternator belt or pulley is making a hell of a racket, so will chase it up then!
  22. Love the red carbon!
  23. Looks good, I would question why the cambelt was changed at 30k and 37k... 7k seems a super short period of time to change a cambelt again!Apart from that, looks good!
  24. They are the ones in the picture... gun metal gray :D
  25. And similar to @savage bulldogs, I'm always under the watchful eye of my little feline fellow...
