  1. Had my car serviced today... done 12k miles now since buying my car in September 2014! Time flies when you're having fun! Desperately needs some new brake discs tho... I'm thinking a full black diamond kit for £410?
  2. Welcome to the club!!
  3. Ooooh very nice! That is on my to do list :D
  4. ouch.. sorry to hear that :(
  5. Scoop is installed! Was relatively painless apart from two bolts on the old scoop had rusted on and took a lot of sweary words and two broken clips to remove! Gave the scoop a coat of wax before installing as well!
  6. No, my car is a WRX so have a smaller scoop... I've installed an STI intercooler so needed the undertray to make the most of it, and the undertray doesn't fit under the WRX scoop so had to get an STI one. Finding one in black was near enough impossible so bought a blue one and had it resprayed
  7. Got the STI scoop back from the body shop... just need to fit it along with the undertray :D
  8. Installed the STI intercooler today... was very straight forward actually, taking the old out was harder!! Also cleaned out my IAC valve which was veeeeeeery dirty, deems to have done the trick, no more revs jumping between gears!!
  9. I'm in crossgates :D
  10. No, you need the dump valve attached to the intercooler for it to make any noise as that is where the pressurized air is coming out of. You will need to blank of the pipe going into the intake which should be located below the dump valve. You will also need to attach the vacuum pipe to the dump valve (the smallest pipe)
  11. Strut brace fitted, scoop is in a body shop getting painted!!
  12. If the dump valve is not secured to the intercooler correctly it will constantly leak boost and you will lose power.
  13. The parts are arriving thick and fast!!
  14. My car doesn't like the Tesco stuff... so v-power for me!!
  15. Yeh I was pretty pleased!! Shame it's absolutely pissin' it down today... I know it won't take long to fit but still... :D
  16. Yeh a shell card is a must!! Especially since you usually get double points with v-power!!
  17. Strut brace arrived today, bargain price of £36 delivered off a seller on ebay... not bad :D
  18. Got a scoop from a breakers... thanks anyway!
  19. Got the undertray, just looking for a STI scoop... colour doesn't matter, I'm happy to get it resprayed if need be!
  20. He must've hit pretty hard to take a chunk out like that!! Muppet
  21. I'm gonna give my scoop to body shop to paint... I'll think i'll just get a 2nd hand genuine scoop from a blue scooby and get it painted, only works out around 50 quid more. I managed to find an STI undertray on ebay for 40 quid... just need the scoop so when I fit the STI intercooler, I'll get the best from it. Thanks for the input guys
  22. Welcome to the club!! That's probably my favourite shape of Impreza!!
  23. To be fair the past few tanks i've barely gone above 4k rpm...mainly coz i've been commuting so much. I'm sure i'll drive a bit more heavy footed once i get the remap done :D
