New non-resonated centre pipe has been fitted and sounds excellent! Not as loud as I was expecting which is probably a good thing but def gives a more distinct burble and deeper note... overall, pleased :D Was a pain in the !Removed! to do tho... one of the old spring bolts was super stiff, so much so that we eventually just sheared it... much to our relief!!

This is the one I have (LINK), very easy to use and doesn't stand out as an aftermarket head unit. Straight forward to install as well once you get the adapter for the wiring, I've hooked up a subwoofer to mine very easily as well.

I still have the OEM recirc on mine and I get the phhhssht noise but only coz I've removed the airbox resonator. Even still, a recirc will never be as loud as a VTA but it should help with the issues you are experiencing -

You would get noise if you removed the airbox resonator... that's what I did paired with a pipercross filter and you can def hear a difference, you can even hear the recirc dumping the air back into the air intake...

I cancelled my sky coz i've moved out, they offered to knock 15 quid off for 10 months... My dad also phoned up to cancel his and got £15 off a month for 10 months. Threaten to leave... you will get a deal
