  6. no problem - keep us posted ;)
  7. yup echo advice from Mr.B there - that plus good pen oil and a blow torch, try the one then progress to next on the list, prime example exhaust studs on older bikes :D
  8. Wotcha and welcome... Nitemare - easily done - couple on ebay at the moment - not genuine but could get you through until something more appropriate came along http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Impreza-Facelift-Bonnet-RB5-Colour-/390762279380?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item5afb3f31d4 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-impreza-Facelift-P1-V5-V6-Alloy-Bonnet-74F-aluminum-Sti-Wrx-Rb5-/141194689436?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item20dfdbfb9c

  11. was considering them for mine but didn't get around to it looked at these as well but wasn't sure about them all being logo'd http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUBARU-IMPREZA-GENUINE-STI-McGARD-LIGHT-WEIGHT-WHEELS-NUTS-1993-2007-/161219508686?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item25896e79ce
  12. The same wheels that are on Gambits ride have come up on ebay over last couple of years as sets of four just needing refurb / repair but have gone for little money (comparatively) so it might be worth being a little patient and saving money in the long run
  13. unfortunately you do pay to learn and its great that you have shared your findings with us :)
  14. I have been forced to do it in the new Scooby otherwise it wasn't something I had done previously
  15. That is the stuff I currently use should be enough there
  16. I dont want to be the damp squib here but I would only buy them for the track or offroad use. Magnesium alloy whilst being very light and strong does have a shelf life of x amount of hours - they are not designed for longevity and a lot of race teams return them for recycling to ensure they do not end up on the public highway. I dont know where you would stand if one failed on the road and you trashed your car. I would go with Petes recommendation they only have one spoke less and will last a lot longer, particularly on British roads or try and source some older ones like Gambit has that may need a refurb
  17. They are OZ ones you can see the labelling in this photo
  18. useful to know - a couple of people have come on looking for reputable garages in Surrey Bucks area
  19. Hope it all gets sorted - it is disappointing for such a low mileage car
  20. Awesome thread - some great mods done and nice feedback about how each one performed - and those track shots show what must have been a cracking day - Cadwell is hoot
  21. Wotcha and welcome - car sounds like a great example - do you have any photos to go with it? Are you looking to get another scooby once you have sold this one?
  22. got you - so it cant be driven away then - well we do have a few sport drivers on here so you may get some requests
  23. I dont see why not - it would be great to have you on board ;)
