  2. I do like the JW racing pic - couldnt see how much it was though?
  3. If you are on a budget go for the option Gambit suggested if not look at JDM options or something like this from AU http://www.ultrex.com.au/subaru-forester-front-lip-my06my07-p-241.html?zenid=2cda1d915021e3d3929a96fb30aba1c2
  4. would something like this be an acceptable alternative?? http://www.patchdevil.com/en/product/CAR-AUTO-RACING-AUFNAeHER-PATCH-SUBARU-8x7cm.html?x0c0af=6255dfb9ca395b8e5f698a5bad8501a6&info=502 or this - a little simpler on the design? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-F1-Motorsport-Racing-Logo-Badge-Patch-/140701817706?pt=UK_Collectables_Badges_Patches_MJ&hash=item20c27b5b6a

Thats true and its one of the best nights out I have had, your wife would have a true experience of northern hospitality :D

I dont know if what you say is true but you can run a wire / wires protected by an appropriately rated fuse to have a 12v supply which would bypass anything within the loom and have the light switch circuit connected via a relay which would be activated the existing lighting circuit to power the HID. Be aware for MOT purposes HID's need to be self levelling and have a power spray wash linked to windscreen wiper wash to pass
  7. The GX's can look a little basic in areas but most of the pieces in Subarus can change within the year range and as we have seen with a little tinkering can be changed across different models even ;)
  8. £25 is not a lot to know where you stand and then make an informed decision
  9. the wait is almost over :P

we have decent food and coffee over here now so its way better than it used to be, we still import a lot of wine and Grappa can be got quite easily, your wife could feel right at home - oh apart from the weather of course :) and we dont do fresh urchins either - which is a shame
  11. Wotcha and welcome - did the interior light flash and did you get the sound when you connected the wires? Does your alarm work ok from the remote?
  12. A little early for my experience unfortunatly but hopefully someone who is familiar with that year can help
  13. Wagonwheels has made several changes to wheels and ride height etc his current Fozzie is a real sleeper http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/2436-what-wheels-are-you-sporting/
  14. Wotcha and welcome - we have had a Fozzie roof rails search before, I dont know about the colour but they come in quite expensive brand new - less from the US for some reason so what I would suggest is to get them off and refurbed / coated in whatever colour you fancy members have done the tinting themselves without too many issues but unfortunately teh quality of cheaper films shows very quickly with peeling and discolouring - recommed either spend more on the kit yourself or get a pro to do the job - they are not as expensive - and the money saved on not buying roof rails could be allocated for that instead ;) Skid plates I dont know about and would be interested in the answer to that one myself although if you browse the forum and check out Farmerpugs latest exploits Fozzies go into and out of hedges not needing a skid plate at all :D
  15. I agree with the wing and bodykit opinions you have buuut it does look like you would have a very individual motor when completed and not afraid to kick up its heels either It will be great to have all these great project threads in one place and we are hopeing that will be along in the very near future. Going to enjoy following this one as well :)
  16. Wotcha and welcome - I concur with Pete pressures plus the nitrogen is the way to go
