Are you sure they have been removed and are not the old ones as you have some other weights there in the last picture?

all they need is a socket then a spanner other wise you can wind the ratchet all the way out to the engine bay and get it trapped, with mine I cracked it with the socket gave it a couple of turns and wound the rest out with my fingers. The shaking could be balance of a wheel being out - check and see if you have lost a weight... but the leaning to the left is not - it sounds to me like you have something loose in the drive train

yup just reinforces that I dont think a wide enough piece of research was completed

The one thing I would say when it comes to wrapping, all the discussions that have been had revolve around the conclusion of buy cheap buy twice - you will pay less initially but the quality of the vinyl will be lower and runs a high probability of looking shabby very quickly. If price is a concern is there no chance you could address the paint job with polishes or are the imperfections right down to the metal - you could spend £400 get yourself completely kitted out with a DA polisher, mops and compound - clay bars etc if you do a great job you could possibly offer to do the same to your mates cars for a fee and re-coup some money. Crisp white looks great - its the shade of gold that I think can ruin it - for me it has to be a JPS gold against a Ducati orange gold - I thik the final photo has the best gold colour for me but it may be the light helping but any of the above I would love to own - have to lose the roof scoop though :)

Just read a piece in the March issue of Japanese Performance car magazine which has details a buying and modification guide for the 2008 - 2011 WRX STI - ill pull the main points together in another thread - in the meantime though there was one thing they stated that rang a couple of bells '...there seems to be issues with the standard ECU maps, including the PPP upgrade versions...' This conflicts with information I received from Subaru themselves regarding the dealer supplied PPP models and as such was stated by me in a previous thread discussing this subject. I dont know where JP mag gets its info but given this I will, from now on, be recommending a remap by the likes of JGM and Andy Forrest etc - not necessarily to get more power but to sort the fuelling parameters at higher revs which result in engine failure.
