  1. looking good!! - the light on my rear spoiler is held by two philips head screws at the back then just slid forward - needed a mirror to see them and a small 1' screwdriver to get to them
  2. exactly same as the dullards by Brands which is why only limited full gp circuit days
  3. Muppets who live close to the race circuit are complaining about noise and looking to get the amount of days the circuit is open reduced - this will force the closure of the circuit Please sign the e petition and redistribute - need 100,000 signatures to have it discussed in Parliament https://submissions.epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/46739 http://www.mallorypark.co.uk/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=359&catid=34&Itemid=84
  4. could be cause to dish out a warning point what do you think Steve??? :P
  5. Steve - I think that was part of our illustrious leadership team looking to make you feel welcome still even though you are having an unplanned break from owning a Scooby ;)
  6. not done the job on this model myself but the links might provide some food for thought http://www.just-subaru.com/lighting-classic-68832-0.html http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=193_194&products_id=608

  8. remote door locks, smoke generator, maybe a tazer gun
  9. that was it SVA ok these are a couple of hours from you - nice drive across the southern counties http://www.s2000-4u.co.uk/used-subaru-impreza-cars-in-in-hampshire 11k in Pompey http://www.performancecarcompany.com/stock/car50/index.htm
  10. Wotcha and welcome Lee :) I believe there is an imports place down your end that has Scoobies - Ill do some digging, I know its there as I ended up driving 4 hours 1 way arriving just outside Hastings to pick up the one in my pic but they had an alternative I was going to look at.
  11. Hi Doris - welcome to the site It is as Gambit says behind the glove box draw, open the draw to its fullest and you can see there is a small retaining bar on the left side - this will just pull off allowing the draw to drop slightly more, it will now be stopped by a plastic post on both sides, there is enough flex in the draw to pull them in wards and allow the draw to drop further its a bit tricky to get them both in and allow the draw to drop all the way. When all the way down the draw will pull away from its hinge at the bottom. The filter is now right in front of you and reminded me of looking at a video cassette, just pull the existing filter out and replace with the new. If you are still stuck I can get some photos tomorrow.
  12. liking the grill - it is an improvement, black angel eyes would be a good choice methinks. question... possible discussion point - does the number plate position affect the airflow into the rad and intercooler, is there a noticeable difference on the temp guage or would it be better to get a bonnet sticker type? I only ask as the front spoilers I am looking at don't really accommodate a number plate that well and it will over hang the intake as well
  13. As Gambit says plus noise from main bearing but Simons is a tempting option ;)
  14. Magnecor items http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=47_176&products_id=1335
  15. job done - its not a concourse car so fit for purpose I would say
  16. aaahhh I see - there you go learn't something already this morning and its not even 10:00 :P
  17. correct me if i'm wrong but I thought all diesel engines would run on cooking oil or biodiesel as long as there was an appropriate thinner and the stuff had been filtered?
