is that done at delivery time? sounds like one of these treatment things dealers do to protect the paint etc
  7. always bad timing init. But as said get it checked out first to rule out anything else. If its just a bush it will be alot cheaper
  8. Personal choice would be the pedders ezifit or what ever there called, uprated shocks, lowering springs, new top mounts and come as a complete unit for easy fitting. There no where near as hard as most coilovers
  9. sounds typical rear shock knock :( get it checked out cos could be a worn bush, but my money would be on shock's gone. Is a good excuse to upgrade though ;) Nice set of pedders all in one would be a good option (non wagon fitment so assuming yours is a saloon) and don't forget will need a full alignment doing
  10. Don't need to mate, if mapper doesn't know what it should be then walk away cos there clueless
  11. That price will be open source, I wouln't use it myself due to lack of support for technical issues. Also make sure a proper road test is included in the price
  12. Tends to be the cheaper end and those that charge that I wouldn;t trust to map my toaster
  13. Anywhere from £350 upwards depending on what system they use and if dyno or road. Cheaper is in no way better when it comes to mapping subarus. Personally i wouldn't use road mapping due to insurance reasons and I would use a garage that does mechanical work as well so if an issue is found they can put it right, not charge you for coming back again.
  14. yeah you should see some improved mpg, the standard map is pretty rich off boost so mapper can back the fuel off, typically 14 to 1 off boost and 11 to 1 on boost
  15. damit, brb,,,, hahahaha
  16. haha :D so 0/140 getting there :D
  17. awww, sounds like he'll settle down
  18. Is it the bailey ons that keep failing due to the spring? or am i thinking of another brand?
