  1. Hi there welcome to the club
  2. The wife calls it the yobbo car coz its loud and in your face haha and the kids call it sonic the hedgehog coz its been painted in sonic blue and has daft spikey things on the roof above the rear window which tbh i'm not a fan of so will hopefully come off when i get round to getting it resprayed coz who ever done the paint job hasn't done a very good job looks ok from a distance but up close its a bit rough i just call it the scoob 😆

Oh well think i'll be going down that route then just thought it was worth asking, they want £60 odd delivered which i thought was not bad also its the mrs that going to be buying them as a xmas prezzie which is really nice of her (think she wants me to get all the stuff done that i want done so that i shut up about the car)😂. Thanks once again for the advice buddy

  9. Theres tons of really safe and modern looking seats out there that will do from new born all the way up until the wee one is old/tall enough to sit in the car without a seat, i would say look at greco or mamas and papas and i'm sure i seen recaro child seats somewhere which are possibly the safest seats on the market also not sure how old ur scoob is but most seats now come with the isofix thing which is even safer, sorry i'm not much more help my two are older now so havnt needed a seat for a while but there are some cool designs out there

  18. Cool cheers savage think i might just pop a cable tie round it as a temp repair until i get the correct piping for it, i checked the thread with the codes and code 45 points to a pressure sensor but doesn't actually pin point what sensor it is so i'm just assuming theres only one. Just been to pick the kids up and done around 25miles and all seems to be fine. I'm now begining to think it could be an old code which hasn't been cleared i'm on hols this week so will clear it tomorrow and see if it comes back however i've just remembered that it has overboosted a couple of times could this have brought the pressure sensor code up?
  19. Welcome to the club as has been said we do like pics 😃
  20. Afternoon all, i require a little advice. I went and gave my v1 inpreza a wash up at the local shell station and afterwards gave it a wee blast along one of the A roads to give it a dry off and the cel came on, i got it home and lifted the bonnet to find the pipe which goes onto this reddy orange thing above the boost solenoid had popped off so i put it back on and the cel had gone out so gave it another blast along the same bit of road and this time it was fine. Then when i got back i joined the black connectors to find code 45 can anyone tell me what this means and why this pipe could have came off. Its never done this before and since i put it back on its not came off again thanks in advance stu

  25. Hiya lee unfortunetly i dont have any experience with the outback diesel but do work on diesel engines and by the sound of it it looks as if the dpf could be starting to get blocked which your local garage should be able to re-gen if the have decent software to read the ecu, also they will have to change the engine oil and filter afterwards as when the re-gen is being carried out the ecu chucks tons of fuel in to clean out the dpf which gets into the oil and thins it out and basically fills the sump so its really important to get that changed straight after the dpf has been cleared, hope this helps buddy ☺
