  3. Haha what about the burberry hat and the full adidas tracksuit or is santa bringing those, we will need to see pics aswell lol
  4. Sound thanks for the advice savage and stants, i take it icp will do the fuel sender/pump lid gasket? As could get it at the same time as the service kit also i was looking to getting an original air box and putting a panel filter in because i want to take the cone filter off to put it back to how it should be are all classic boxes the same mines is a v1 wrx, i was looking into getting newage coil packs seen some on ebay that already have the pigtail conversions on for £110 does that sound like a reasonable price?
  5. Cheers savage 👍 i'll be happy with 300hp if i'm honest any more will be a bonus, next on the list are the phase2 to phase1 adapters so i can fit them to my rails was on lateral performance site and they do them for 49squid delivered so will be going for that then i'll be buying new up-pipe and header gaskets as theres a slight leak where the pipe joins to the turbo, then drop the fuel tank to make sure theres a walbro pump in there as the previous owner said there was, just for peace of mind and also full service kit from import car parts all fluids changed including coolant system, diff and gearbox busy and happy days are a coming 😆😆
  6. Look what arrived today this is just the start of my winter hoarding getting the motor ready for going to see andy forrest in the spring time. Showed the mrs and got the look that only a woman can give haha even though it was her that bought them as an early xmas prezzie how lucky am i lol
  7. Your welcome pal. Aye the reason its tucked away for winter is because of the amount of salt they chuck on the roads here in the scottish borders is unreal the roads are pure white with it from november until the end of march and even though i've undersealed it all still don't fancy having to get new rear arches and stuff because the salt gets into everything also gives me time to save up for parts for the scoob winter is a busy time for me on standby to go out fixing the horrible gritters so in a way its kinda my fault theres so much grit on the roads haha
  8. I'm from scotland and very proud of the fact and i do agree with you on some aspects tidgy, me personally am getting fecking sick of her now aswell i wish she would just shut the feck up, scotland voted to stay in the uk a couple of years ago and she doesnt seem to aknowledge that ( i voted to leave at the time) but now i'm glad we didnt the !Removed! has fell out the oil industry but thats not the be all and end all. The part where you say we get more spent on us per head of population may be correct but we pay more in per head last time i read up on it and thats all down to thatchers days in office so it kind of works itself out in the long run. The quicker the next election comes the better then we can get rid of her but for who coz labour is goosed and the torries will never get in up here
  9. Hello and welcome to the club
  10. Haha thats quality sav a argos chav ring haha
  11. Glad to of been of some help bud, my kids love it but my scoob is just a toy for the weekends and all i ever get from the wee man is are we taking the scooby, can we get the scooby out haha he's raging just now though coz thats it been tucked away for the winter
  12. Hello and welcome to the club i'm fairly new to the scoobs aswell but from what i've read and what other members say is make sure its had cam belt, tensioners and water pump done, check for rust around rear arches and strut turrets and the 2ltr engines seem to be pretty bomb proof and puts up with alot of punishment also low mileage does't necessarily mean itl be any better than a higher mileage one it all depends on how its been treated if you have any concerns just walk away theres always plenty more out there
  13. Welcome along
  14. That may not be the part number it could be stamped on it or on a plate located somewhere else on the tb however i cant be sure as have never had any dealings with one but if its fooked you could take it off and see if there are other codes on it or take it to a local motor factors and see if they can identify it for you hopefully someone else will be along to shed some light on the situation
  15. Mmmm very nice
  16. Ahh right now i see think i misunderstood you i thought you wanted to spectate not take part, the rallyx cars are basically race built specifically for doing it which will cost a fair bit i would imagine
  17. I see your in newcastle and if you like autox theres rallyx and its on at croft race circuit tomorrow which is just down the road from you near darlington, rallyx is a bit like autox except its a mix of a tarmac and mud/gravel course and is quite good to watch with alot of different classes of cars with varying amount of power, one of the guys at work is going tomorrow and he reckons theres going to be around 85-90 cars there so should be a good day and its quite cheap to spectate
  18. Is that the hangover from all that rum you had the other night haha

  24. Cool good to hear you've got it sorted mate all the best on map day
  25. Has the new battery got the same cranking amps as the old one also i think new batterys should be around 13.5v as it will drop a few volts while cranking then when it starts the alternator should have a charge rate of about 13.5v i could be wrong and i'm sure someone will be along to correct me if i am hope u get to the bottom of the problem
