  1. I fitted some alloys I recently refurbished myself.
  2. It looks mint. Very nice 👍 mine is a version 3 wrx Is it your first classic?
  3. Tidgy makes a good point my 96 wrx idled bad due to a wire being chewed through on the maf sensor. my legacy needed the idle control valve cleaned. It’s a start at least
  4. Hi guys I was just interested to find out how long I should leave my pfr6B plugs in before I should consider changing them. I believe they are meant to last longer but I’m interested to see what you think. thanks in advance
  5. It looks great, worth the extra sanding 👍
  6. Looks good. My version 3 wrx had the same treatment a couple of years ago and it’s great to see another classic saved from the dreaded rot.
  7. Larry makes a good point When I was looking for my first WRX I went for the 2.0 rather than the 2.5 mainly because of the scary stories of ringland failure, but the main thing to check is how well it’s been looked after with servicing and being run on 99ron fuel preferably (Tesco momentum or shell v-power) You should be able to get a really nice wrx for your budget.
  8. Cool looking car! I do really like the Levorg only I wish the name was better and I agree that it’s a shame an sti variant never came here
  9. Ah I understand, that makes sense. I’ve also got some sti trailing arms to fit to compliment the existing sti camber arms so it should be pretty good.
  10. Hi mate I know others will be able to give better advice but from my experience it’s important to get information on the service intervals and what grade of oil has been used, 5w40 is usually a decent start for a turbo Subaru preferably with a genuine black jdm oil filter. Also has it been run on 99ron fuel (Tesco momentum or Shell V-power) they contain anti knock agents that are quite vital. from my experience the rear arches are important to check for any signs of rust as it’s important to nip it in the bud before it becomes a big job. That’s a start at least. I hope that’s helpful
  11. Nice mate, the turbo spool is addictive
  12. Hi mate, it’s good to hear. How do you find your 2012 sti? They look pretty cool 😎
  13. Hi everyone I‘be recently purchased a 24mm whiteline rear antiroll bar for my version 3 wrx gc8. Would it be a good call to also upgrade the front to a 22mm and also fit heavy duty mounts for the rear? Its currently on eibach 35mm lowering springs. Thanks for your help. hope everyone is safe.
  14. Ok, how much would you want for it? Thanks
  15. Hi Bud would you be willing to post the downpipe? thanks
  16. Hi are there oil filters and fuel filter still for sale?
  17. Nice car mate. Andy Forrest is a great engine tuner/mapper. Also uprating the brakes could be something to think about.
  18. Hi mate. I can get a set of new ones for a fiver. Sorry.
  19. No problem, thanks for your time. Can I still get the pedal covers?
  20. Sorry for taking a while to get back to you. Here are some pics
  21. Ok, do you think it will fit my non turbo legacy 1999? I can message you my address to get an idea of postage if you like?
