  1. I used both gasket and exhaust paste on a leaky down pipe.
  2. Yep just use a standard SD card to save to. Can be set to record all the time or has a motion activated record aswell. Powered by a BL-5C phone battery, old Nokia type I think. Can be recharged via the cigarette lighter aswell.
  3. Yeah there nowt wrong with it, just not super high quality.
  4. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Super-Legend-HD-Vehicle-Recorder/dp/B005Q6CJI4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1417523983&sr=8-1&keywords=dash+cam £10 for the one above which I have been using or my Go Pro. big diff in quality but also massive diff in Price. For £10 its worth the punt tbh.

  6. Replacement caps £19.99 from just Subaru. It's not the whole cap just the logo part. http://www.just-subaru.com/accessories-classic-68740-0.html
  7. Scoobs do have that effect on you. I bought my 1st impreza during the test drive when I saw the grin on my mates face, knowing it was prob as big as mine.

If you get there early doors you may not get in if not on the list. Full address for the pub is: The Fairmile Portsmouth Road Cobham Surrey KT11 1BW Kicks off from 13:00pm onwards! Eveyone with a Scoob is Welcome. Your welcome even if you don't have a Scoob, you just can't park on the grass :) As with the last couple of months, before adding your name to the list, please ensure that you read the following:Meet rules: 1. No idiotic driving on the roads surrounding the Fairmile 2. No damaging the Fairmile grass 3. No leaving litter/cans/pint glasses on the Fairmile grass 4. Do not partake in any other idiotic behaviour that gives Scoobies a bad name In addition we ask that only Japanese cars park on the grass please. Members are more than welcome to come down in non-Jap cars (or bring friends) but please, Japanese only parked on the grass (there is a second car park to the rear of the Fairmile if you don't want to park in the main area).
  9. mine cloth was delivered today, wont have a chance to use for awhile though :(
  10. I know of a few around the Surrey area. it would be a bit of a trip but well worth it. Dan @ Surrey Subaru specialists http://www.surreysubaruspecialists.com/ Stuart @ TFS http://www.tfsracing.co.uk/ James @ Grd http://www.greenwoodracing.co.uk/ I have personally dealt with all three of them and would recommend them. the other option for you would be to check out http://www.southeastscoobies.co.uk/vbulletinforum/index.php it's a club in your local area, although quite a few of the members travel to Dan or Stuart.
  11. welcome to the club. you don't want to see what Gambits used to make his own mark on his car... it's Sticky
  12. Did you put the anti freeze in the long necked yellow cap on the right hand side of the engine that says coolant? Yellow arrow on Pic. If so its just the over flow for the system, there is no return to the system from here. when I 1st got my classic scoob I thought this was for topping up the coolant and spent ages trying to fill the system up from here :)
  13. Be sure to check the inner wing, behind the boot liner. I had about 2" of water sitting there.
  14. Thing is you can get a WRX plate from £400, unless the 1st part of the reg is unique I doubt you'd get much for it. I had M77 WRX scrapped it with the car as no one was Intested in it.
  15. 50ltrs 10 Gallons with 10 ltrs 2 gallons of reserve I think.
  16. Check for leaks around the spoiler fixing points, if you can jump in the boot with a torch and get a helper to spray the hose over the boot area. Check for water ingress from the inside.
  17. Spot on that's exactly what I did, then if you want to use the hole you can gaffa tape the cable to the coat hanger and pull it back through. I think they come through above the level of the pedals, may have to fold the carpet down to get to it, cant remember it was so long ago :)
  18. Look from the engine bay there is a hole/grommet you can use by the brake servo, I used this on my classic for a few gauges, it comes out by the pedals. On my New Age I used the main cable you are talking about, it is possible to use but you'll have to make a hole in the rubber and reseal it with some goo. I used bicycle puncture repair kit. I pushed a piece of thick gauge wire through and then attached the wires I wanted to feed through and pulled it into the engine bay that way.
