  1. Sounds like you got a great car there. Welcome to the club.
  2. Here's some links to previous threads and tips. http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/6846-get-your-engine-bays-out-for-the-ladsgirls/?hl=%2Bengine+%2Bclean http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/9179-engine-bay-cleaning/?hl=%2Bengine+%2Bclean
  3. Nah it's a Guildford post code on the number plate so it can't have been Mike. If it's there again I'll stick a note on it for the club here and my local club see if they are into the scene.
  4. Mike is you Reg **** XUB? and are you parked at Sky Osterly today?
  5. Yeah I'd do a major service if it was me. All the fluids inc gear box and diff, brakes fluid, cam belt, and all the normal service bits. Must admit if I had the space and the cash I get another classic.
  6. I got my OZ Alleggerita from Lark Speed http://www.larkspeed.com/index.pl?c=PACKAGES&s=category
  7. It's Monthly Meet time again! As ever, it's at The Fairmile in Cobham. Feb 8th 2015 Full address for the pub is: The Fairmile Portsmouth Road Cobham Surrey KT11 1BW Kicks off from 13:00pm onwards! Eveyone with a Scoob is Welcome. Your welcome even if you don't have a Scoob, you just can't park on the grass :) As with the last couple of months, before adding your name to the list, please ensure that you read the following:Meet rules: 1. No idiotic driving on the roads surrounding the Fairmile 2. No damaging the Fairmile grass 3. No leaving litter/cans/pint glasses on the Fairmile grass 4. Do not partake in any other idiotic behaviour that gives Scoobies a bad name In addition we ask that only Japanese cars park on the grass please. Members are more than welcome to come down in non-Jap cars (or bring friends) but please, Japanese only parked on the grass (there is a second car park to the rear of the Fairmile if you don't want to park in the main area).
  8. That's good to know I was starting to toy with the idea of upgrading to a 2014 and was going to go visit Shellys. Your experience doesn't really endear them. Btw your more than welcome to come to the Surrey Scoobies meet, every 2nd Sunday of the month at the Fair mile in cobham. Great bunch of people and loads of knowledgable people. Next meet will be Feb 8th. http://www.surreyscoobies.co.uk/ There is also a Middlesex club, but they don't seem as active as the Surrey mob. Their last advertised meet was April 2014 :(
  9. Welcome to the club, which dealer was it?
  10. Hm not expecting much from Ford performance cars in future, ford have the yanks leading global devleopment of all the new RS, SVT and Ford Racing models. We all know the yanks are rubbish at cars. All their best cars were developed in Europe, by engineers who know that cars need to go round corners :D
  11. That's coz they all live in moms basement. Pretty sure this is the guy Wolwitz cheated on Bernadette with. Best ever mod for a game was Counter Strike!!! I remember downloading loads of diff skins for guns and even had a fizzy drink can launcher that replaced the grenades
  12. Whats the base car ?????????????????? 200SX or a Skyline???
  13. I find they tend to wear the outer edge of the fronts pretty quickly :( so rotate front to back, and if your really anal left to right aswell.
  14. Where's the heat going to come from? the system has to wait for the water to get to temp before warm air comes out. Mine always takes few mins to warm up. If I need to demist I just set the dials to windscreen, full temp, full power and then switch the AirCon on.
  15. Welcome along. The classic Sounds like a bit of a beast.
  16. My 1st quotes on my classic were around 2k that was when I was in my early 30s, full no claims bound aswell. All the underwriters said my lack off experience with powerful cars increased the premium. Luckily Tescos mis-quoted me @ £750 as he only looked at UK cars, even though every time I mentioned the car I stated it was an import. Played hardball with Tescos and got them to honour the quote. 2nd year was £1100 with Keith Michaels covering all mods. I have been with them for over 10 years now.
  17. congrats on the new car. Guage wise money no object. the Deffi Range. If your on a budget I would recommend Depo gauges http://deporacing.eu/ they can be daisy chained so you only need to splice in one power supply. I went for these http://deporacing.eu/catalogue/Stepper/
  18. that's nice car and being red it's a pretty rare Scoob. Might be worth putting your asking price on the ad. (Ps deleted the other thread.)
