  1. Yeah check with http://www.wr1oc.co.uk they would be able to help.
  2. Some wraps look good some look maff it's all down to personal taste, if you like it that's all that matters. If you get the stance and wheels looking right wraps really compliment some cars. One of my all time fave scoobs was wrapped. Regards insurance try Keith Micheals, they specialise in modified cars and a lot of my local club memebers including myself use them. They don't charge the earth and are a good company to deal with. http://www.keithmichaels.co.uk
  3. If you were going to pay 1.5k plus, may aswell go the whole hog and go HKS or Blitz Nur spec.
  4. The Hatches had unequal length headers, its the center resonator and back box that is muffling the noise.. you can change the back box on its own and get a better sound. you could go for a center back Decat with the existing back box and get a similar result to above, or change the back box aswell and get more of the burble back. Finally you can go for a full decat: Downpipe, centre pipe and keep the existing back box this will make it much deeper in sound and burble, possibly with farts and pops on over run. the last option would be full decat and a New back boxlike a blitz HKS ect this will completely change the sound of the car and imho is a bit too much for everyday use. It sets off alarms, causes windows to shake next door. Great fun though :)
  5. Try Grade A Subaru or Jap performance parts both breakers with late model stock.
  6. Basicly without going overboard and reasonable gains on standard internals, front mount inter cooler, dump valve and full decat. All require remap. Going a bit more you'll need to upgrade the turbo, forged engine parts, bigger injectors, fuel pump etc etc. Body wise there's not a lot about for the Hatch unless you look to Japan and the states. Rear wings, defusers, body kits ect. There are parts around the UK but it's mostly front lips, grills and that's about it. Suspension, full range of stuff about, tien, eibach, whiteline, bc, kyb etc etc.
  7. Been offered some Prodrive springs from a hawkeye. I'll be using existing strutts just swapping over the springs. would there be any issues ie bump stops.
  8. It's the larger one 140mm x 68mm Subaru part no. 93013SA032. Haven't contacted a main dealer yet as was hoping there might be one from a breakers. Ebay just throws up replica ones rather then genuine. The only genuine ones are from the states and work out quite expensive. None of the breakers I've tried have them. The badge can come from 2008 on Impreza's, 2006 on Forrester's and 2008-09 Legacy's. If anyone has one or knows a breaker that may carry one please let me know.
  9. Finaly got round to pics of the finger puppets :)
  10. Hope you have a good one mate.
  11. Welcome along, never done gearbox oil myself so can't help on that one :( Someone will point you in the right direction.
  12. Looks like you've stumbled on a gem of a car. Hope the issues haven't put you off. I'm pretty sure the grin will come back when you pick it up.
  13. maybe contact opieoils? we get discount there aswell :)
  14. I'll take some pics at lunch time.
  15. To do the squeaking parcel shelf I cut 2 squares of foam to fit in the recess's where the bar part clips in, then I made two finger puppets of foam and placed them over the tabs on the cover part.
  16. Welcome to the club. Do you have to unlock the car with the key? Maybe it's in valet mode? Does the alarm work? Maybe have a read of this thread, it might shed some light. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1636339
  17. Yeah can't beat a classic for look imho.
  18. no idea, I was going to wash them, mask the tyre and spray away!! From what Ive read there's no special prep unless the surface is pourous.
  19. I've just bought a can of matt black plastidip, plan to change the look of the car for the summer. http://www.plastidip.co.uk/eStore/index.cfm?Plastidip_Aerosol_Spray&stage=3&colour=Black,Blue,Clear,Yellow,White,Red,Green,Orange,Brown,Gun_Metal_Grey,Flex_Blue,Bright_Aluminum&pid=PDL-0009 i only have one can to do my front grill, and will test it on a wheel then buy a cple of cans to finsih of the wheels. I've gone plastidip so I can peel it off when I want to change it again, much cheaper than respraying bits and pieces.
  20. All club photos at Jap fest need to be taken by Chris, maybe Chris should be appointed the club thermal photographer :)
  21. That is so cool! See what I did there ;) When you get the shots you want, I'll deffinatley be making one a wallpaper.
  22. Don't worry we don't bite, maybe drool a little ;)
  23. Reminder for anyone interested in going 13:00 onwards. Grub and drink available from the Fairmile.
  24. Dodgey grommet around the aerial? Dodgey boot seal. Best way to test is to jump in the boot with a torch, get a mate to spray water around the boot seal and aerial whilst you look for water ingress with the torch.
