  2. Can anyone point me in the direction of a uk supplier for Hella Super tones? I can only find ebayers from USA/china or for fake ones.
  3. http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/user/2084-gaulson/ Send him a pm
  4. I never looked into jap size. Might be worth contacting Gaulson and asking his company how much for the jap size. They have the logo vector on file but I can provide if needed.
  5. Took me a couple of hours, I've done it before so had a good idea of what I was doing. Like all things once you've done it once it's much easier the next time.
  6. Just swapped out the reversing camera for one with parking grid meant taking out: all the boot lid trim rear c pillar trim rear bench seat boot floor number plate light trim rear boot lights Both sections of the centre console Radio itself. Bit of a job to do all that but it's really easy as it all just pops off. Only had to undo 12 nuts and 7 screws
  7. Did a bit of hunting about and found this is the one I bought. Worked great and reduced heat soak a lot. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270846649168?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT If you haven't I would also wrap your down pipe if it has no neat shield. I used this stuff. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-5m-Titanium-High-Temp-Exhaust-Heat-Wrap-10-Stainless-Steel-Ties-/320957452109?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4aba8e0f4d
  8. salsa car is in the pic on the ebay add.
  9. I didn't see any around the main buildings. Might have been in the overflow which I didn't even know was there. Only hatches I saw were yours, your mates black WRX a blue WRX and that was it.
  10. Just got back from Prodrive. Was a fantastic gathering with all models represented. WR1's' P1's, 22B's, RB320's classics, hawks, blobs and bugs everywhere. Must have been about 300 cars of not more. Believe it or not mine was the only Hatch STI there apart from Salsa but he's a 330s and 2 WRX' There were at least half a dozen 2014 STI's, they get better each time you see them. Was great to meet up with Salsa King, you car is stunning in RL. Didn't take any photos, loads from Surrey Scoobies were taking pics so I said I will cut and paste theirs :)
  11. I had one on my classic, might have got it from ebay as I'm a cheapskate :) no issues with it except fitting it was a bugger and I had to use screw drivers and welding wire to man handle the bottom spring in place.
  12. Washed the car ready for Prodrive, and bought a no spill dog bowl for use in the car :)
  13. Which do reckon is the toughest track? Bit hard to measure as you can't drive the TT at full chat.
  14. There's some footage on TopGear website. http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/isle-of-man-tt-car-lap-record-2014-06-04 It will prob feature in Launch Control a tome time aswell.
  15. When I took the pics for the overlays yesterday I put the show plates on. This morning I just went to the shops and had forgetten to take the show plate off. Lucky there were no police about
  16. Look great, I would recommend a detango though, swap the front and side indicators for clear ones :) really lifts the car.
  17. So who is actually going on Sunday? I'm looking to get there for about 10 hopefully get somewhere to park.
  18. What I did was get the main part done over the bumps and curves and I left about an inch unstuck from the edge of the light. Then in small sections (about an hands width) I heated and stretched it out towards the edges and used the squeegee to push out towards the edge and fold the vinyl down behind the light. Last thing I did was to give the whole thing a blow over with the hair dryer which seemed to shrink it back a bit for a really good fit. The only place I really had trouble with was the bottom corner of the large light above the wheel arch. Not really happy that I got enough bleed tucked behind it. I was quite lucky in that I was able to get most of the vinyl tucked down behind the lights and didn't need to cut too much off. Also where the soap solution dried on the inside of the vinyl has left a cple of smears on the inside. Weirdly I found the 1st side easier to do than the 2nd one and also easier than the 1st time I tired a few months ago.
