  1. Saw this on my local club forum, thought you blobbies would be interested.
  2. Dropped the car off and it will need both Doors on pass side resprayed £150 each, rear wheel arch £150 + £250 for the bonnet, have said to leave bonnet blow over for now. Body shop said they will just touch up the stone chips for now. So hopefully will be a bit nearer £450 rather than £700. Gotta laugh he's mentioned a few times that I am quite fussy when having work done to my cars, not sure if this is his way of saying I'm a pain in the ****?
  3. You can also get ally catch cans, fuse box covers, header tank. Or you could dip/wrapall your plastic bits.
  4. Swiped the side of the car pulling out the driveway. Nice scrape and crushing of the rear pass door and wheel arch, scraped a spoke on the wheel aswell. Really !Removed! off with myself. Only bright spot it's going to the body shop tomorrow anyway. Just not feeling the extra £300-400 it's going to cost :(
  5. I reckon tour battery is on its last legs. I had similar issue the batt would not start car, charged the batt and it took after about 20mins it would show as fully charged, when back in the car it would work for a cple days then go flat. Replaced battery and never had an issue since.
  6. What was the issue?
  7. Nope it's the one I made this morning.http:// youtu.be /zP3NDYU5-Ao If I have the link as it's copied it won't embed.
  8. Welcome along. I'm pretty sure someone will pop in and answer the question. We don't all sit monitoring the forum 24/7 :D it can take a while to get a response.
  9. Here's a short vid of the throw on the gear stick with the Kart boy short shift. Adding the front and rear bushed makes the car feel like it's actually got a proper H gate, the gears have a nice positive feel and there's no slop at all. Bought the short shift and bushes from http://asperformance.com £150 for the 2008 STI version. Kartboy do short shifts for most models http://www2.kartboy.com/x4/home.php Won't let me attach the youtube vid :(
  10. Fitted the Kart Boy short shift, front and rear bushes aswell, then spent 10 min under the car looking for where the 2 bolts I had left over went. Finally realised they were the old rear bushing bolts as you get new ones with the kit :D
  11. A and z are very close even on a full size keyboard :p
  12. Got the dent in front n/s wing sorted. Fitted Kartboy front and rear gear shift bushes and got half way through the short shift. It started to rain then hailstone so I got very damp and have given up until tomorrow.
  13. Welcome along.
  14. Cam belt change seems to vary from £300-450 top end price should include tensioners and pullies along with the belt. I bet you have a grin after driving it. Good luck.
  15. Wierd mine doesn't record any sound. Been playing with the minutes and can't get it to record audio, even the dictaphone won't work.
  16. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005Q6CJI4/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  17. Today replaced the rear wiper blade. Tomorow I'm going to the Dentman to get the dent in front n\s wing sorted Monday goes into body shop for rear a scrape on the N\S qtr and the stone chips on the bonnet soted as they are showing sings of the rust worm.
  18. Scooby Pete replied to bazza's topic in Car Shows
shame Japfest is the weekend after, if there was a bigger gap between the shows I would have gone to this aswell :(
  19. if thats only done 200 miles it must have been mounted outside the car!!
  20. Welcome to the club. can't really add anything sounds like Tlag has the answer.
  21. Maybe one of the wheel weights has come off and a wheel is out of balance. Might be worth going to whoever fitted the tyres and get them to check. Other thoughts are wheel bearings or worn suspension bushes.
  22. The reason I've never noticed a big diff is I can't really push it in the wet, just not really possible. All built up areas where live, I'd have to drive for about half an hour to get to any decent twisty bits.
  23. Great site for tyre reviews. http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk
  24. http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk Is a great source of information. It's got reviews from users so it's the most independent site I have come across.
