  1. I had a classic that had P1 splitter, Sti spoiler, 22b bonnet vents and I de badged the whole car apart from the front grill. As gambit said it's your motor so go with what ever floats your boat. Personally I don't like cars that have the Sti/Gti/turbo/RS badges when they aren't.
  2. Bought the DashCmd app as its compatible with my Pioneer head unit. So I can get it on the screen rather than looking at the phone, and all the functions work on the touch screen :) only downside is I cant connect with my new Iphone 5 as i have to by a new adapter :(

  4. Nice one, I need to get a new iPhone connection kit for my head unit first. I've just got an iphone 5 and that's not compatible with my head unit typical of both Pioneer not to future proof stuff and apple to change connections. Can't just connect to it via the USB like you could with the 4.
  5. I do park quite far away from the kerb these days, with the classic there was the odd occasion where parking spaces were tight and it took a fair bit of monauevering to get in a space 12 inches bigger than car. That's the problem living where I do parking is a real nightmare sometimes. Had a look at the website for yours and I may look at an ebay alternative as funds are a bit tight at the mo.
  6. Do you find that you have to be careful parking? I haven't fitted any to the hatch as I kept ripping my rear bumper off the classic when the flaps got trapped between tyre and kerb.
  7. LogWorks. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/logworks/id351896392?mt=8 There's no setting or anything in log works and it just won't connect even tried to connect manually and that still didn't work. It works fine with car doctor and I have downloaded a load of the free OBD2 apps to try out.
  8. got mine plugged it in connect via wifi to phone, my app doesnt pick it up though :( Car Doctor is one of the apps you can use to connect to the OBD reader there are loads of apps about.
  9. Got mine aswell. the iphone will connect to the reader but the app says nothings connected :(
  10. Great Thats my next Bilking Plate Sorted :p welcome to the Club as Gambit said we all like an oogle at some pics :)
  11. Welcome along, any Pics/Spec ect always welcome :)
  12. Forza 5 feels like a moblie Phone game, in app purchases basic carrer, basic MP. It all feels rather rushed and modled on a Freemium game framework. If the next Full game one doesn't have the same features as 4 i may not bother buying another version of Forza
  13. Shop wise if you called them pretty sure they could advise on bits that would fit, induction kits, exhaust back boxes, wheels, strut braces, suspension parts etc would more than likey be the same as a WRX. http://www.just-subaru.com http://www.scoobyworld.co.uk http://www.japperformanceparts.co.uk http://asperformance.com
  14. Looks great would look even better with SOC show plates ;)
  15. Don't think many AWD road cars can do this! Chelsea tractors not included.
  16. The pump creates a resistance and in turn adds load on the engine via the belt. Any load on the engine will sap power & increases fuel consumption as the engine has to work harder to perform to the same level. I've read anything from 3bhp to 14bhp (old Jag) depending on age and type of car.
  17. Still waiting on delivery of my reader, wish amazon would be clearer when the seller isn't in the UK.
  18. Welcome along. If you not too far from the Kingston/hampton court area you could pop down to the Surrey Scoobies meet Sunday. http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/8002-surrey-scoobies-monthly-meet-13th-july-2014/ I can't make it but they are a nice bunch of fellow enthusiasts always happy to welcome fellow Scoobies owners.
  19. http://money.cnn.com/2014/07/03/autos/subaru-recall/ Attention cold climate drivers, Subaru said Thursday that it is recalling 660,238 vehicles. The recall covers vehicles that are currently, or have ever been registered, in what Subaru calls the "20 salt belt states" - where salt is used to melt ice and snow in the winter months. Not sure if it affects us this side of the pond, always good to know though. Our winters aren't that bad but some of the northern owners might want to contact Subaru to see if they are affected.
  20. Welcome along:) My fav quote wish in one hand !Removed! in the other and see which fills up 1st. Or Life is like a !Removed! sandwich, the more bread you've got the less !Removed! you have to eat!
  21. only thing I can think of the is Turbo's bearings, the whine seems tied to the Turbo. Hopefully one pof the Techy Guys or Scooby Spoecialist will chip in with the correct Diagnosis
  22. this only applies to Pre 08 cars. they beefed up the loom on the later cars so you can run it off tyhe stock loom.
  23. Yeah lot of people do this but after Reading up on it it seems using the separate loom with a direct feed from the battery means they are louder than running of the stock loom. Also the thin wires the stock horns use can melt if you get a short or something, using higher rated wire in the separate loom avoids this and also having separate loom and fuse means you won't loose all your horns if something goes.
